"Amazing staff, food was good, location and overall resort very nice and great with kids. Airport transfers were good but vehicles were old so it was a hot drive there and back. Would 100% go again. "

"We had 4 nights in a Beachfront unit, with great views of the beach, modern rooms and friendly staff. The two restaurants had 4 menus, and we particularly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and interaction with the chef and other guests. All food was wonderful. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere compared to the nearby, much larger and busier Intercontinental Hotel. The beach is beautiful, clean and great for long walks, and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. We had massages at the spa which were great and at reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back to stay. "

"I read some bad reviews before coming here and i was in two minds , well i think some people have nothing better to do but complain, the staff are amazing happy helpful and a delight to be around .Room is clean and tidy breakfast was perfect fresh fruits ceral , breads pastries, cooked fresh pancakes, bacon , sausages, eggs i could go on but what more do you want love this place love the peopl e don't let bad reviews put you off and i have traveled all over the world and would definitely come back Bula Vinaka or in my language ngā mihi .dont "

"I was so impressed with the Shangri-la. The grounds and gardens were immaculate. The rooms were spacious and the beds and pillows were super comfy. Air Conditioning was so good after being out on the heat. The hospitality of the staff was wonderful you really did feel at home and looked after. Everyone was super friendly. Loved how the golf cart could drive us up to the restaurants or stopped to pick us up when passing. The fire show was fantastic. We tried all the restaurants, they were all delicious too. The happy hour at the adults only was a real bonus and such a draw card. Pools were clean. We can't wait to come back! thank you Shangri-la and all your staff for making our holiday wonderful."
