Impossible to sleep

The hotel is very dated. However the main issue was lack of sleep, the room was swelteringly hot - no A/C and told not to open windows due to insects. The was no view apart from a large kitchen chimney - creating dreadful food smells. Staff didn’t care. This was room 117 - avoid in all circumstances.

Een geweldig hotel!

Een geweldig hotel! Inchecken ging vlot, het personeel is heel service gericht. Hier hebben we tot nu toe het heerlijkste ontbijt gehad met veel keuze mogelijkheden. De kamer was heel schoon, goede vedden.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Hotel sehr schön. Einige Sachen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Schlüssel statt Keycard etc.), aber das hat uns nicht sonderlich gestört.

Sehr schönes Hotel in toller zentraler Lage. Trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof ist es sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Ausstattung sowie Frühstück ließen bei uns keine Wünsche offen.

Prachtig statig hotel, centraal gelegen pal t/o station, maar geen last van treingeluid. En dichtbij veerdiensten over de Bodensee. Personeel is zeer hoffelijk en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is zeer gevarieerden uitgebreid en de eetzaal is ronduit schitterend en ademt noordafrikaanse sfeer.

Perfect hotel for my touring holiday. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Good range of food for breakfast served in the beautiful Le Marrakech restaurant salon. Sites in the historic Altstadt a short walk away. Even better for me the hotel was directly opposite the train station (routes to Switzerland and Germany),the bus station and a short walk to the harbour (for ships to Mainau Island and Bodensee towns). The room i chose was comfortable but quite basic. A kettle or coffee maker and supplies would have been a welcome addition. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend Hotel Malm.
