Welcome to our exclusive guesthouse, Stilhaus 1730: Discover a unique living experience that combines design, comfort, and elegance. The 200-square-meter apartment is located on the ground floor of a stylishly restored half-timbered house dating from 1730 and is suitable for 1–4 adults and 2 children. The house is situated in an idyllic village; a bakery, restaurants, and other shops are within walking distance. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for day trips and hiking, including in the Black Forest.

Our house offers families, couples, and business travellers an ideal retreat that spoils you with the highest standards, stylish details, and state-of-the-art amenities.


The amenities:

*Kitchen*: fully equipped and open-concept—perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking or simply wants to enjoy a cup of coffee.

*Dining Room*: The spacious wooden dining table offers plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their meal while the fire crackles beautifully in the fireplace.

*Children’s Room*: For our little guests, there’s a cheerful children’s room with lots of toys, great books, and a slide. Two children can sleep in the bunk bed, which is designed to look like a little wooden cabin. For babies, a fold-out cot and a high chair are available.

*Bedrooms*: We offer 2 bedrooms with cosy beds (1 Beluga box spring bed) and high-quality hotel-style linens for restful nights.

*Living Room*: Here, you can relax on the comfortable couch in front of the smart TV with Netflix. For those who still have work to do, a workspace is available.

*Bathroom*: The high-quality bathroom features a large rain shower. Next door is an additional guest bathroom.

*Terrace*: Shielded from prying eyes, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the summer or relax on the sun lounger.



The Location:

The half-timbered house is located in Königsbach-Stein, right in the heart of the historic centre of the half-timbered village of Stein. A bakery, restaurants, a snack bar, a hair salon, a small supermarket, city hall, the post office, and the local history museum are all within walking distance. Despite its central location, you can enjoy peace and privacy here.
The house is ideal for exploring destinations in and around the Black Forest. It takes 20 minutes to reach Karlsruhe and 15 minutes to reach Pforzheim.

The village of Stein features a local history museum, the 16th-century Storchenturm (Stork Tower), and great playgrounds for children. There are wonderful walks to take here; the village is filled with many impressive half-timbered houses, such as the Old Oil Mill, the Tobacco Barn, the Bathhouse, and the Brick Kiln. From time to time, guided tours of the village centre and the notable half-timbered buildings, as well as lectures, are held (please contact us if you’re interested). There are over 200 km of dedicated bike and hiking trails in Stein.

You’ll have exclusive use of the ground floor.
Check-in is conveniently handled via a key box, giving you maximum flexibility. If you have any questions, we’re of course available at any time.
There’s one parking spot in the courtyard, with additional spots around the house.

The floor can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. If you’d like to bring additional guests, you’re welcome to book the upper floor (entire house) as well; this accommodates a total of 10 guests. There’s another listing for this on FeWo.
