"It's a truly beautiful house with an incredibly great location. We were able to relax and enjoy the lake, the nature, and the peace and quiet. The house has everything you need and is well located on the lake. The nearest supermarket isn't far away either. Contact with the landlord was always quick and easy. We highly recommend it!"

"I had no idea what to expect when visiting, as it was a work trip. But it was utterly charming and they served some of the best food I’ve ever had. The surrounding countryside was beautiful too and I e never experienced such little traffic. Fantastic experience! "

"I was disappointed. As a former resident of Kongsvinger I happen to know that this used to be the very best Hotel in the town. It can now only be described as 'tired'. The staff were courteous, but not especially customer oriented. Room was comfortable, but not what I expected of a higher end hotel. The sauna was good, but the pool was very cold. Breakfast on day 1 was interesting as the yoghurt placed on the buffet had gone off. Not the very best advertisement for Kongsvinger."
