Stay was during the hot wave in Europe, 40degrees during the day, still very hot at night and they accommodated them in a room room without A/C (although when my Mom asked, they told her some rooms have A/C). Paying equivalent of 300 USD per night on a regular weekday, one would expect room with A/C. Besides that, road works started just under their window at 6am. "I traveled there by my own car. Street parking was available, and the location was easy to find. The address and location itself were good. However, check-in is only available until 4:00 PM; if you arrive late, you are out of luck. They do not accept check-ins after that. For someone traveling for business, having to go to the hotel within these hours can cause disruptions to other work. The bed was very old; in fact, one side was sagging, so I couldn't trust it. I could only sleep on the very...

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Komárov?
The best time to visit Komárov is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is mild and pleasant for outdoor activities.

During these months, you'll find comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the local countryside and historic sites without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The natural beauty of the Zlín Region, with its rolling hills and forests, is particularly appealing in spring as everything blooms or in autumn with the changing colours of the leaves.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will appreciate the quieter atmosphere during these shoulder seasons. You can enjoy strolls through the village and surrounding nature paths, or visit nearby attractions like the Baťa Canal without the larger crowds often present in July and August. Many local eateries and small shops are fully operational but less busy, offering a more relaxed experience.

Families travelling with children will also find these times suitable. The milder weather is great for outdoor excursions and visits to local points of interest without overheating.
