Search Kokapi hotels

The best area to stay in Kokapi is along the east coast of the main island, particularly around the villages of Waha and Mola.

Waha is the primary hub for visitors to Kokapi. It's where most of the island's guesthouses and dive operators are located. The village itself is fairly compact, with a main street running parallel to the coast where you'll find small shops and eateries. Its proximity to the main jetty makes it convenient for island hopping and diving excursions. This area is ideal for travellers keen on diving and water activities, as many dive boats depart directly from here.

Mola is another excellent option, especially for those seeking a slightly quieter stay with a more local feel. It's a short boat ride or a pleasant walk north of Waha, accessible by a coastal path. Mola is known for its traditional wooden houses built on stilts over the water, offering a unique cultural experience.
