"We stayed here for 3 nights to escape the heat of Budapest, the resort is beautiful and well looked after. There is very little we could fault, the only exceptions was a rude man working at the spa who made us feel like we were interrupting his peace, and the automatic 15% service charge added whenever ordering anything from the spa. We asked for an icecream which they took from a freeze in the back room and yes 15% service charge added. The food was lovely for breakfast, and the dinner was good...

"Overall a great stay. Only small downside is Bolt and Uber no longer pick up from hotel (bqck to terminal). As we had luggage we called a cab which now take cards so no big issue. My go to hotel for the airport. Interested to see the price delta with Tribe next door as that looks very nice too…."

"Excellent location for Budapest Airport. The 200E bus from Kőbánya-Kispest (KöKi transport hub and large shopping mall) takes around 25 minutes to the airport. From the metro, you can walk entirely indoors through the terminal and shopping mall, with only about 3 minutes outside to reach the guest house. There is a restaurant on the corner, and food outlets at the terminal were already open at 5:30am. Reception is open 24 hours, check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and polite. Parking is available. We stayed in a compact room with three single beds, three chairs and a wardrobe. One bed is against the wall and there is minimal space between the beds, so luggage space is limited. The bathroom is also compact. Very clean. Good shower pressure, excellent air conditioning and blackout curtains. There is also a large mirror in the small entrance hall and a coffee station (kettle) and a mini fridge. Breakfast starts at 7am, so we left too early to try it. The only downside was the safe. We couldn’t get it to work and were told three times that someone would come in “a few minutes”. After waiting around 30 minutes, we had to leave for an appointment. If we had simply been told it would take longer, we wouldn’t have waited."

"This hotel has many rooms. The rooms are basic, but clean. There are few amenities, but the room did have a refrigerator. It had a desk with a chair. There were two glasses to use. The windows opened for fresh air. The place is quiet because it's outside the city center, so we liked that. The check-in staff was friendly. The hotel is from the 1970s, so it had a retro feel to it and I liked the nostalgia I got from staying in an old hotel."
