Staff v friendly and helpful, convenient location and access to a lovely beach with sun loungers. Unfortunately not the cleanest- bathroom had mould and dust up high, got into bed after a shower and there was sand in it so unsure the sheets were clean 😖

Lovely short stay

Only had a night here as had an early flight the next morning but would definitely come back for a longer stay. Lovely room on the first floor at the back with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors so a great view to the beach. Very comfortable bed and a good shower. Used the shuttle service to the airport which was super punctual. Would highly recommend

Had room 106 next to the sea and it was stunningly beautiful. Room was clean, large with a terrace basically on the beach. Toilet door doesn’t offer much privacy but a small price to pay for the hotel location. Restaurants bars and shops all within walking distance

My day was pleasant enough. The property is right on the beach, which is a good thing. Unless you book a deluxe room, you were unable to use the pool. The property is old and dated, but the level of maintenance is reasonable. When you leave the property to go for a walk, you must take your key with you. The staff do not hold the keys, which is a bit inconvenient if you’re going to the beach for a swim. I enjoyed my stay. It was relaxing. There are two restaurants directly across the road a Thai restaurant and an Indian restaurant and both serve excellent food. Overall, I give the property 7 out of 10.

This is a basic budget hotel - I paid extra for the ocean view, and was glad I did - ask for a room furthest to the back if you don’t want loud street noise all night long! Wish the small pool was open to all (and not just the single premium room). Nice to be able to step directly onto the beach from the hotel!

Clean large room friendly owners local to everything restaurant, bars 7/11 etc. I had the room on the street and had a bit of traffic noise but not too bad. For the price excellent

Niente da obbiettare con il titolare e le ragazze che ci lavorano. Cortesi gentili e sempre disponibili. La struttura è situata vicino all aereoporto al fisherman village e al porto dove partono i tour. Questo è un bel valore della struttura. La pecca sta nella struttura( come nella maggior parte delle isole come ko tao o ko phangan che sono vecchie e senza manutenzione, ossia, la manutenzione viene fatta ma rattoppando in maniera sfatiscente)le vetrate sono coperte da una carta simil marmo (come all interno) i muri. L entrata nelle camere nn è curata , ci sono vasi sparsi a dx e sx con piante mezze secche..Purtroppo loro vivono così e siamo noi che ci dobbiamo adeguare. Ho scritto questa recensione perché chi come me avrebbe voluto saperlo prima di soggiornare.Ripeto, niente da dire al personale, loro meritano 5 stelle

Fantastic little hotel right on Bangrak Beach in Koh Samui. You can't beat the location, price, and especially the staff! Mike and Annie are the BEST and definitely make you feel like family. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom and shower are excellent, and you're literally steps from the beach. The area around the hotel is fantastic with plenty of great restaurants very close. Just don't tell anyone else how great The Shore is, let's keep it our little secret.

The family running the hotel are extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, very close to both the harbour and the airport. I would definitely stay again.

great little place

Lovely little place. Clean, spacious rooms. Close to airport. Run by a very nice young couple. Cheaper rooms next to street are loud with traffic noise and music across the street. Stay in the rooms down by the beach.

2 nuits avec Full Moon

Petit écrin le long de la plage. Nous étions les seuls clients. à 5min à pied des pontons (parfait pour rejoindre Haad rin en Speed boat pour la full Moon) et restos, laundry service, location scooter, 7eleven... tout autour. Bungalow très confortable avec grande literie et salle d'eau spacieuse, service attentionné. Vraiment une superbe découverte.

A gem

The Shore is run by a young couple who are very interested in their guests comfort and experience. The location right on the beach is wonderful and the bathrooms are very good (for an inexpensive room in Thailand). They are expanding right now so it is a little hard to see from the road but the construction didn't interfere with our stay.
