Nice Hotel, great Pool

It was a nice stay. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was excellent with outdoor shower and inside bathtub. But location is a big minus. As long as its daytime, its ok to walk but in the dark you your own light. No direct entrance to beach but its nearby. Only for people with good fitness recommended, otherwise you need a taxi or bike.

We had a terrible stay at Q Signature Samui. When we arrived, there were no other guests. We later found out that the hotel was closed because of construction work, which we were informed of neither before nor during our stay. This meant that the pool area was off limits for ten days. During the two weeks we stayed, the cleaning staff never provided us with clean bedsheets or towels (they were always stained). Whenever we asked the staff for anything, they promised to do it, but never did, probably because they didn't understand the requests. This included simple tasks such as ordering a taxi or having our laundry ready within 15 hours. Two times during our stay did the safe reset the code to default while our valuables were inside. Although the staff could open it for us during week days, we ended up buying our own lock. The restaurant was overprised, and although we were the only guests, they still forgot our orders. The neighboring beach was very nice. Quiet and child friendly, and with excellent street food and restaurants. We also liked Samui very much, but regret our hotel choice.

Schlechtes Service, schlechter Zustand der Villas

Mit einer Villa inklusive Privatpool wollten wir uns im Q Signature Hotel Samui einen krönenden Abschluss unserer Reise gönnen. Leider funktionierten viele Dinge nicht: *) Das Personal spricht großteils kein Englisch. *) Das Service ist äußerst langsam. Bei Anliegen wird man auf den Folgetag vertröstet, allerdings wird das Anliegen auch am Folgetag nicht bearbeitet. *) Die Villa war in sehr schlechtem Zustand, da anscheinend in den letzten Jahren keine Renovierungsarbeiten ausgeführt wurden. (Lichter funktionierten nicht, Nägel standen aus dem hölzernen Terrassenboden, Wasserleitungen unter Spülen waren undicht, es gab teilweise kein Warmwasser) *) Aufgrund des schlechten Zustands der uns zugeteilten Villa baten wir um Behebung der Mängel. Dies war dem Personal nicht möglich, sie boten uns andere Villen an. Leider gestaltete sich die Suche nach einer intakten Villa als sehr schwierig und dauerte lange. Die Ersatzvilla war ebenfalls mangelhaft, allerdings in geringerem Umfang. *) Das Frühstück war für diese Kategorie von Hotel katastrophal: zerkochte Nudeln, Reis mit trockenem Hühnchen vom Vortag, von Geschmack und Umfang schlechter als in den billigen und spartanischen Guest Houses, die wir im Laufe unserer Reise buchten. *) Wir raten jedem ab, dieses Hotel zu buchen, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis kaum schlechter sein könnte.

Outstanding!

Outstanding hotel! Amazing break fast..lot of items for Asian vegetarian meals..I loved my stay in the hotel. Rooms were really good...room lock was not working which made me feel little insecure. Otherwise, location is fantastic, beach side just outside the hotel. Friendly staff!

Not bad, but to go back .....? Maybe not

Definitely the "glory days" of this hotel are gone. The villa with private pool was nice. The bedroom was quite big, the swimming pool was clean, but the mosquitos were a nightmare and there was no spray or something else to help us escape from these hungry monsters. The staff spoke almost no English at all and it was so difficult to understand them . It took us 20 minutes to organise the next day trip with the ferryboat from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan as the receptionist had huge difficulties speaking and understanding English. The breakfast was nothing special to be honest. Basic things. It was advertised as " 5 minutes away" from Chaweng, but this turned out to be 20 min drive with a taxi for 400 Baht in one direction and you have no chance to hire something like tuk-tuk as the hotel is far away from the main road.

Room itself was very nice. Staff were not as helpful as hoped for. Definitely stay away from the excursions office next door - tried to book a through same and the only male member of staff who was fond of lying on a sofa playing games on his phone while you were in there hadn't a word of English and made me sorry I had ever went i there in the end. Mind the mosquitos in the lobby who just love all the stagnant pools of water outside. Pool was very nice. Too long ? steep a walk from the local restaurants etc - wouldn't return.

Tranquillité dans un hôtel vétuste

Nous avons lu plein de critiques négatives sur cet hôtel mais pour le prix C difficile de trouver mieux ! L'arrivée prévue a 16H n'a pas été respectée nous n'avons eu notre clé que 45 + tard. Et ils n'avaient même pas notre réservation avec eux. Il a fallu que je fasse suivre mon mail de réservation pour qu'il nous retrouve.... Acceuil glacial . Hôtel vétuste et chambre difficile d'accès a cause de la pente. Mais les chambres sont belle malgré un certain âge et si vous louer un scooter vous êtes complètement autonome et en fin de CPTE nos 3 j ce sont très bien passé .

Hotel and villa accommodation close to beach

We stayed in a deluxe room with views of the valley and bay. The hotel has access to a very pleasant bay with the usual complement of cafes,bars and massage stalls.Perfect spot for young children. The local village is 10 minutes walk away. Has bars restaurants. Plenty of local transport and taxis into the bigger town. Can hire cars ,bikes from hotel outlet. Hotel is dated,rooms large and clean.Breakfast is adequate and plenty of it. Staff are friendly and helpful. two large swimming pools on property.

Best part about the hotel was the service that the staff offered. Hotel is quite old yet functional. 15-20 minutes drive to the Center. Overall it was a nice stay. I stayed for 6 nights.

We went all in, as they say in gambling terms. Paying half a fortune for a 210 square meter villa with a private pool. This was not a gamble that payed off. The villa (and the rest of the hotel also) was heavily worn down, and there is in dire need of renovations. The floors and walls are worn, the pool were missing tiles, the couches are spotted and dirty and the electric system does not work properly. Our AC unit stopped working at least one time a day for a ten day stay, and if it was not turned to maximum strength, the air got humid. This got a bit cold. Especially at night.The free WIFI is only availabke in the hotel reception and restaurant, and the payable alternative is both slow, unpractical and expensive. Though a close walking distance to the beutiful Choeng Mon beach, you have to cross a sewedge ditch to get there. The most positive side of the hotel is the great location. It is on a hillside, with fantastic views from everywhere on the resort. The design choice of splitting the hotel up in several smaller (and lower) houses are also a detail I appreciated. The employees are very friendly and service minded (but this is not very untypical of Thailand). Breakfast buffet is OK, but not 5* standard. This once beautiful facilty is, even though only fourteen years old, completely worn down. You can get as good a deal as possible, but stay away. This is a 3* resort masking as 5*, and is not even worth considering.

Stort, men dejligt hotel.

Vi havde nogle rigtig dejlige dage på dette hotel. Hotellet var utrolig lækkert, men meget stort, så derfor var der et stykke at gå fra vores værelse til pool og morgenmad, dog var der golfbiler som man kunne ringe efter. Der var desværre ikke gratis internet. Stranden var ikke Ko Samuis bedste, men der var to rigtig lækre pools. Det tager ca. 10 min at gå ned til en lille by, hvor der er spisemuligheder og indkøbsmuligheder. Alt i alt et godt ophold!

プールヴィラが１泊２万円以下で利用出来るのは特筆もの。他のリゾートにあるような高級感は皆無だが何よりもリーズナブルなのが良かった。唯一不便だったのは寝室のエアコン調整が微妙なこと。温度計の目盛りはあってもサーモスタットの調子が適温調整が出来なかったこと。

It looked fine over Internet . I arrived , was driven up the hill noticing dilapidated facilities and was show my very old room . Aircon, tv even big screen in "sports bar" not operating . I went back to reception and checked out straight away forfeiting my $45 aud . A poor lady who had bought timeshare was looking very miserable in reception and agreed with me . There are many better , newer places for LESS money on Koh Samui .

if you are a noisy rodent, this crumbling deteriorated resort is a great place to stay ... presence of vermin (allegedly 'native') high, backed up putrid water in the kitchen sink, hot water system splutters and hisses like its about to explode, service takes FOREVER (e.g. when we pulled back sheets to get into bed we found dirty footprints on the sheets - this took housekeeping 1 hour to change for new sheets) ... a sucky stay, not to be repeated. Nice view from the freezing pool.

Nice hotel, huge land on which you see numerous little houses and villas, actually too big to be high standard properly managed. Rooms look old but are very quiet and charming. Nice sun exposure, pool is great, meals are pricy for what is served.

Awesome hotel- but needs maintenance...

This is a great hotel (if you don't mind walking up some a steepish hill to get to some/most of the rooms). We had a one bedroom pool villa- it was very spacious and amazing. We totally enjoyed it. We would stay again but wold urge the owner/manager to start to do some maintenance on the rooms/buildings. Breakfast was lovely, the infinity pool was great to swim in. The gym needs a treadmill and air conditioning that works!

Perfect location

Pretty hotel next to one of the most beautiful beaches of Koh Samui !! The swimming pool overlooking the ocean was awesome!!!The staff was very friendly and helpful despite the fact that they could not speak good English!a bit disappointed with the room though!!!old fashioned in need of major building works!! The drains in the toilet smelt badly and there were ants in some corners of the room! There was no radio in the room and the TV was very old fashioned and temperimental!I payed for a deluxe pavilion so I was expecting a completely different situation!!
