This home is a refined coastal retreat in one of Kodiak’s premier areas. With ocean views, beautiful sunrises, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a bonus twin bed tucked into a sleeping nook, this thoughtfully appointed home offers elevated comfort for families, executives, hunters, and small groups seeking a stylish and memorable Kodiak stay.

Guests of the The Legacy House have private access to the front portion of the property, including the large front porch, grill, fire pit, and expansive front yard. There is a separate suite located at the rear of the property. The two spaces are fully separate and do not share access. The front outdoor areas are reserved for The Legacy House guests, while the rear portion of the property is designated for the suite.

🩵 We are a local brand on the rise of thoughtfully curated, all-inclusive, comfortable holiday rentals with first-class professional hospitality. We have water front properties and paddle board rentals to enjoy coastal exploration and beautiful sunrises!

We will occasionally be on site during your stay but will be available 24/7 by phone and we live close by. I like to give my guests space and privacy, but rest assured, if you have any questions or needs they will be met during your stay.

Just a heads-up—Kodiak’s wild beauty comes with unpredictable weather! Flights and ferries are sometimes delayed or cancelled due to fog, wind, or rough seas.

🚨 These disruptions are common and are outside our cancellation policy. We highly recommend travel insurance to protect your trip. It can cover delays, cancellations, or interruptions—giving you peace of mind before and during your stay.

HOT TUB RULES: out of service

THIS IS A 5-PERSON HOT TUB DO NOT OVERLOAD

NO UNATTENDED USE: For your safety, the spa pool is to be used by registered guests only. Never leave the spa pool unattended while it`s in use.

CHILDREN`S SUPERVISION: If children are using the spa pool, they must be always supervised by a responsible adult.

ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: The consumption of alcohol or drugs while using the spa pool is strictly prohibited. These substances can impair judgement and lead to accidents.

SHOWER BEFORE USE: To maintain water quality, please shower before using the spa pool to remove oils, lotions, and other contaminants.

RESPECT QUIET HOURS: Be considerate of our neighbors and observe quiet hours, especially when using the spa pool during the evening.

COVER REPLACEMENT & CHEMICALS: After use, add one scoop of chlorine or chlorine tab & run through jets for a few minutes. Before replacing cover make sure the lights and all jets and waterfall are turned off then securely replace the spa pool cover and ensure its properly sealed to maintain water cleanliness and heat retention. Check the seal around all edges after the lid is applied.

NO GLASSWARE: For safety reasons, do not bring glassware or other breakable items into the spa pool area. Plastic cups and water bottles are provided for your convenience.

PETS, OILS & BUBBLES: Pets, Oils & Bubbles are not allowed in the spa pool and will result in a $500 cleaning fee.

SNOW AND ICE CAUTION:
This is an outdoor spa pool, and during certain seasons, such as winter, there may be snow and ice on the deck. Please exercise caution when using the spa pool under these conditions to ensure your safety.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: In case of any emergency or discomfort while using the spa pool, exit immediately and seek assistance if needed. Always follow safety procedures and guidelines. There is an emergency electric cut-off switch on the outside wall of the house. Please familiarise yourself with its whereabouts before spa pool use in case of an emergency.

MAINTENANCE: Our dedicated team will perform regular maintenance and water quality checks to ensure your comfort and safety. Please report any issues or concerns promptly.
By using the spa pool, you agree to sign the rental agreement and comply with these rules and understand the importance of safety and consideration for other guests. EVENTS: Events are allowed with permission and an extra damage deposit and signed rental agreement. We use holiday management software Hostaway and will process the deposit and agreement via Hostaway. *ADDITIONAL RATES APPLY

*Please remove your shoes before entering the house to prevent tracking in mud and rainwater.

*Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. A $500 room recovery fee will be charged to guests who fail to comply.

*Please refrain from moving heavy furniture to prevent damages and the cleaner does not have time or muscle to move furniture. Guests will be held liable for any resulting damages.
