I have travelled with my family around the world and this would have to be our favorite Hotel so far. It doesn’t feel like a hotel, but rather an upscale serviced apartment. The room size is big and spacious and the location is absolutely fantastic with restaurants and transportation all around you. The staff are super nice with suggestions for dining, for currency exchange places, transportation advice, so on and so on.
After exploring all day, it’s great to come back to the hotel and see a smiling face and super comfortable rooms. There is a washer and dryer in the room and this really helps, especially during the warmer months.
We left Kyoto and moved to Osaka and the family are already missing the Hotel and the area.
We can’t wait to go back to Stitch Hotel.

Great stay
"Probably the best hotel in Shirahama. 5 min walk from the beach. Clean, large property. Pool area is fantastic if you have kids and the rooms are large. Bonus point for the Onsen on the last floor with view of beach and sunset. I do not recommend the food. Looks terrible."

"The room looks like it’s been water damaged and the ceiling and walls were bogged with cement. Staff were very nice but the property was very poor. I didn’t like the communal kitchen. I want to make a coffee first thing in the presence myself."
