This property is a great value for the price. The staff was friendly, providing useful information regarding the surrounding area. The cottage has a very nice yard with a swing, picnic table and barbecue. The inside of the cottage was comfortable also.

Unterkunft nicht weit von der Waterfront

Die Lodge ist eigentlich von der Lage super, aber das wars auch schon, die Sauberkeit unserer Lodge für 2 Personen war unterirdisch, die mobile Kochplatte war verrostet und schmutzig, ebenso eine Pfanne mit Rost und Schmutz. Nach einem heftigen Regenschauer hat es an 4 Stellen durchgeregnet wir haben dann Töpfe untergestellt zum Wasser auffangen. Wir haben es beim Eigentümer gemeldet, er hat es sich angesehen, uns aber keine andere Unterkunft angeboten. Wir hatten Glück dass es in dieser Nacht nicht nochmals stark geregnet hat. Zum Glück sind wir am nächsten Tag abgereist und werden die Inyathi Guest Lodge nicht mehr buchen. Wir werden bestimmt mal wieder ein paar Tage in Knysna verbringen, aber dann bestimmt in einer andern Unterkunft.

Inyathi is situated right in the heart of nice Knysna with short distance to the quays, restaurants and Main Street The standard is modest and cooking facilities not adequate for longer stays. Though the appartment has a nice closed yard with brai-facilities. The landlords, Helen and Riaan were very helpfull and informative

Self catering chalet in central Knysna

Our stay at Inyathi was great and we would highly recommend it, especially for small families looking for somewhere safe and central in Knysna. The enclosed complex and private yard for each chalet means kids can run around safely while you are getting ready for the next stop of your holiday. As our daughter was only 19 months old we were kindly provided with a cot bed. Helen and Riaan were great hosts to get advice from; both in and around Knysna but also further afield on the Garden Route or Route 62. It was less than 10 minutes walk to the waterfront and 5 minutes to one of the two big supermarkets for supplies.

Convenient & affordable.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of January & were very happy with our choice. The owners are really friendly & helpful. The property is very secure & only 2 blocks from the waterfront. Our self catering apartment was clean, spacious & well equipped. Great value & highly recommended.

Brilliant location

Very central location that places you literally 5 minutes from everywhere in town. Attentive and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.
