"Didn't know a lake like this existed right there! It was peaceful and just what we needed for a retreat. The houses are close together but that wasn't a problem for us. Plenty of room to spread out in the house and outside and seating outside was great. The inflatable mattresses that were part of the sleeping arrangements were pretty thin, wish we had known that so that we could have brought our own. However, it was one night so not a huge problem. Plenty of kitchen items (not always a guarantee in a rental) and seating. Loved it!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bass Lake. January is certainly off-season for lake living in the Midwest, but we had a great time. The home is well stocked and has plenty of room for a big group. There are a couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance which is nice. Groceries are readily available just minutes away. Top notch experience"

"We had a group of 10 stay here over New Year's and had a great time. There's a large dining table where we played board games and ate, every couple got their own bedroom, and it was easy to spread out to do different things, having one group in the dining area, one in the upstairs living area, and one in the downstairs living area. We also made use of the hot tub, which was awesome (and covered in the gazebo!), but our only complaint there is that it's about 50ft uphill from the house, which is *cold* in December. There's a grocery about 5min away, which is convenient. There's also a bowling alley, which is fun if you want to get out and do something else. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning!"
