Booked an early check-in for my stay, however had to wait two hours before a room was available. I initially booked a twin room but was given a family room with a double and a single bed, whether that was because of the wait i don't know. Staff were helpful and apologetic with regards to the room and service was good overall. A lovely place to stay.

We stayed at the Knock House hotel for 2 nights as a part of our first visit to the shrine and had a really enjoyable stay . Will definitely stay here if we are to visit the shrine again.

Dining service was very poorly had to wait 40 mins on eggs benedict that we had to pay for after already paying for bed and bfast and we had to send it back thebeggs werw so hard and the sauce was curdled very very poor service from chef in the kitchen and he was shouting everywhere , not very profesional

The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. Because the location of the hotel is quite remote you are dependent on the restaurant for main meals. The evening meal choices were disappointing. This with not helped by the food being served on cold plates, which made the meal itself only warm at the point of service. On one occasion this was bad enough for me to return the plate to the kitchen.

Live Spectacular Christmas Concert

Very pleasant stay. Extremely comfortable and cosy on what was a very cold time of year. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel cleanliness was 100% Restaurant for Breakfast was very busy and had to wait a while before getting a Table and we were booked for a set time, but would not put me off staying there again. Very convenient if visiting Knock Shrine.

We reached the hotel around 8:30pm due to flight delays. Reception staff was excellent n advised us that kitchen is closed. She guided us to a take away but on return the hotel manager would not allow us to eat outside food in the eating areas but allowed us to eat in our room. I am against eating in bedrooms including the stale n food odour later. Being English she could not understand the difference between bedroom day room, dining room kitchen etc which was well explained. But she was an absolute so n so

80th birthday 🎂

We were there in thanksgiving to s prayer asked the previous year and celebrate an 80th birthday. The staff were absolutely amazing. It was ni trouble for them to set up the table with balloons and bring out the cake without having to be perept to bring it out.

Everything about ou stay was great apart from one issue that caused us great grief. A horrible smell in the room when we walked in. We opened the window and after a while it got so much better. We went out for the evening and on returning the smell was as bad if not worse. So we contacted the night porter and he came to the room and immediately went to the shower and let the water run for some time. This fixed the problem and thankfully it remained fixed. Otherwise everything else was great.

Everything was good except that there’s no air conditioning which I wasn’t aware of. However, that is not uncommon in Ireland. Given that, I thought the room rate is high. However, it’s right opposite the Basilica of Our Lady of Knock, and I guess that’s what they’re cashing in on - Location, location, location!

The staff were friendly, young and helpful. The choice of food was very good and reasonable in price. The room had everything we needed and was peaceful. Its a two minute walk to the shrine from the hotel.i dont think there is an upper floor. The area was very quiet at the time of year. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport by car. There is a bus service from the airport also. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.
