"The staff was friendly, easy checkin- and checkout. Being disabled, we had a floor unit which was easy to manage. After leaving we noticed that my cane had been left behind. I called and asked about having it sent to me C.O.D., Management carefully located it, and returned my call. They sent it and did so without any charge. I greatly appreciate their kindness. Genuinely referring anyone that is traveling thru Shelton to book into the friendly Shelton Lodge."

"A little outdated and the property needs a fresh coat of paint but our room was clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. There’s a cute trail in the back which is a plus for kids. Will be back when in Hoodsport!"

"Lovely lakefront setting, but needs some love.We had a nice stay at this cabin on Mason Lake. The location is right on the water, and Steve was responsive throughout our booking and stay.We’re leaving 4 stars because the home is showing a bit of wear and could use some maintenance. A few key details were lacking during our stay: bathroom hooks were broken, towels feel ready for an update, blind blades were missing, and the kitchen pantry had several outdated items. Additionally, the checkout task list was a bit more cumbersome than expected for a vacation rental.Overall, it’s a good property in a beautiful spot, but a quick refresh on maintenance and details would elevate this to a 5-star stay."

"When we first showed up the owner came out and talked to us and he was very nice. Told us if we needed anything he would be next door. We got settled in immediately it was clean and beautiful, the site was amazing with a beautiful back deck that overlooks the water. It has a large kitchen with a dining room table and plenty of fridge space. The parking is right out front of the cabin, and he even told us about a trail leading down to the water. Would love to come stay again!"
