Main shower room and toilet have been recently upgraded and are excellent. Location is superb. Only 15min walk to the Hartkaiserbahn. The A and B bus stops at the top of the Au road, which halves the journey. Bus if often busy in peak season as it’s the last stop before the Hartkaiser bahn. We...

"Lovely apartment bang on in centre of town with beautiful views over the mountains. But unfortunately very noisy when we were there due to a local street party. Very apologetic staff. Comfortable beds but could have wished for a summer duvet. "

"This authentic Austrian apartment was a beautiful place to stay and the owners were very friendly and accommodating but this listing was for 4 bedrooma with double beds and there were only 3. Access to the slopes was easy using the bus even though we stayed right at the end of the season and there was plenty of storage space for our equipment. It's also worth mentioning that there was quite a strong smell of cigarettes, so if you are sensitive to this then it may be worth staying somewhere...

"Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber. Bei der Übergabe hat alles geklappt. Die Wohnung ist wie online beschrieben. Sie liegt fussläufig zu zwei Supermärkten zum Einkaufen. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. "For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."
