New in 2024-Brand New Clubhouse/Recreation Center, exclusively for our community making this a four seasons resort! The clubhouse is now open!

Complete with indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, weight room, pool table, ping pong table, 65" large screen tv's, with sofas and club chairs. High top seating tables and stools. Locker rooms/bathrooms/showers. Outdoor patio with seating/playground. Four EV chargers for electric vehicles.

Two large bedrooms with luxury sheets and comforters are located on the first floor, with a shared (with your other guests) bathroom and a laundry room complete with high efficiency washer & dryer/iron/ironing board. (Please note that we do not provide laundry detergents).

The bright and airy space on the second level is stunning! Enter the second floor to a gorgeous and open floorplan. Open the patio door and sit on the Adirondack chairs to take in the sea breeze and ocean views! The living room boast modern and comfortable furnishings for family gatherings. On cooler evenings, you can also enjoy the electric fireplace.

Families and friends will surely gather in the newly updated kitchen complete with brand new appliances, soft close drawers, and ice maker. Family meals will be a pleasure to host eating in the bright and modern dining area.

The third, primary bedroom, is also located on the second floor with an en suite bathroom.

All bedrooms are complete with TV's and cable. This condo also provides fast and reliable WiFi connection.

Bed linens and bathroom towel sets are included for 8 guests.

Take advantage of a Friday check-in during peak season. Why start your vacation sitting in hours and hours of traffic on a Saturday or Sunday? You have peace of mind knowing you are already "home" for the week! Very easy walk into Duck for shopping and dining. Sunset Grille and Raw Bar is located right across the entrance to Barrier Island with beautiful views of the sound, not to mention great food and drinks!

Traveling in an electric vehicle? You will be happy to know that there are now two charging stations located in front of the "Nags Head Station" building!!

Please make sure you stop at the Barrier Island welcome station (blue building beside gate entrance) to receive your parking pass.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This was a beautiful property located steps from the beach. There was a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The owner was very responsive when I needed to reach out. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here agian.

Off-season Fun!

A mix of chilly and fair March weather wasn’t an issue! The condo is beautifully appointed yet very comfy and cozy. As many noted it is very clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the pickleball court, beach walks, heated (indoor) community pool, sauna, pool table and ping pong - lots to do and enjoy! Communication was excellent - great hosts! Highly recommend!

A lovely oasis

The Vitamin Sea is comfortable, and very convenient for exploring the northern area of the Outer Banks. The new rec center houses a nice spa and sauna, as well as an indoor pool and games area, while the outdoor pool and games look so inviting (for warmer months.) The ocean beckons from a very convenient walkway over the dune. --One of the best-stocked kitchens ever!

Scot, is the perfect host. I mean it! It can’t get better. The condo is very nice and clean, nice decor and filled with details. Barrier Island has access to the beach (sun rise, great waves, amazing beach walks, peaceful moment’s listening to the ocean. Walking distance to the sound for the spectacular sunsets. Tennis court, indoor and outdoor pool and more. Walking distance to town and boardwalk. Very centered location in Outer Bank.

Great Location, Responsive Owners

We enjoyed our stay at Vitamin Sea and would happily return. We texted the owners with a couple of requests, and they responded promptly. The condo was perfect for two couples and was very convenient to the beach and other amenities in Duck. Just one small caveat: There is a unit above this one, and the people staying there made quite a bit of noise one night (sounded like furniture being moved). I believe they could also hear us, so we tried to be as quiet as possible (might be a problem if you have small children).

Scot and Paul’s space was perfect for our group of 5 with a child. The rooms were clean and the house, including the kitchen, was well-appointed with all we needed. We were thrilled with the east beach access as well as the walkable pool, pickleball courts, and coffee shop. I also have to compliment the hosts with their incredibly consistent and clear communication. During our stay we had a threat of imminent weather and were able to reach out for questions about travel safety. The care the hosts put into their space and the guests in it is impeccable. Highly recommend!

Vitamin Sea is just what the Dr ordered - AMAZING!!

This was our first time staying in Duck and this condo did not disappointment. It was even better than the pictures. Perfect location and space for our group of 6 (2 Adults and 4 teens). Literally a 2-3 minute walk to a pristine beach, with a lifeguard stand....pool and other amenities all around. You could walk to downtown Duck in less than 15 mins. Coffee/Sandwich/Smoothie place (OuterBean) at the entrance to the property, easy walk from the condo. The condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. It had everything we needed and more. Comfortable for everyone, and allowed us plenty of time to be together, but also room for everyone to have their own space. Scot, was super attentive and helpful with great recommendations truly going above and beyond. I highly recommend staying here...you will not be disappointed. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return soon.
