Stunning view of the beach and ocean! You'll spend a lot of time on the large porch. The kitchen is well equipped but take spices. The bed rooms are a good size. Beds are firm with lovely pillow-tops. Renovated bathrooms. Roku TVs in every room. Such a comfortable house!

Perfect mix of old style and modern

Our 2nd time staying here and it’s the perfect beach cottage. The exterior keeps the original OBX beach charm and inside is beautifully decorated with modern upgrades. The porch very comfortable and clean. Pictures are accurate.

75th Birthday to remember

This was our first time using VRBO and we were a little anxious about how it would work. The process is effortless, and the pictures do not give this property justice. Never have we had such easy access to the beach and the covered deck is a where we spent hours just watching the waves with complete privacy. The interior is beautiful featuring high end appliances and everything you would need. The location is truly the best you could ask for because you are an easy drive to Duck or Manteo and you can walk to Rundown Cafe and Duck Donuts! We can't wait to come back!

October Getaway

Our first trip to the Outer Banks was made even more enjoyable by our stay at this house! I cannot say enough great things about the location, amenities, and overall experience here. Photos do not do this property justice! The casual, coastal decor and well stocked kitchen made us feel comfortable and right at home. Proximity to the beach was unmatched! Being able to walk out the back door and take only a few steps to the water was a huge perk and the deck area was a perfect place to enjoy the evenings. The location in northern Kitty Hawk was ideal for a few day excursions in Corrola/Duck area and Nags Head/Manteo. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Truly an Ocean Oasis

Property was just as advertised-- an Oceanfront Oasis !!! We really enjoyed being that close to the beach with the breezes and sounds of waves crashing in. House was just the right size (for 3 of us). We really enjoyed all the extra touches that owners Cindy and Dave provided with the rental (such as chessboard and pieces and great collection of wine glasses for our indulgences.)_ We hope to reurn in the not too distant future as this was one of our greatest getaways we have taken. Perfect getaway

We chose this property because of its proximity to the beach, the remodeling and refitting of the property, and the cost. We were incredibly satisfied with our choice, as it fit our family of 6’s needs perfectly. The walk to the beach was easier here than nearly every other property we viewed. The covered porch, furniture, and porch swings were idyllic. We never ate out at restaurants because the kitchen was robust enough to handle whatever we wanted to make and reheat, and I couldn’t find a better table in town than the picnic table on the deck overlooking the waves and the beach at the end of the day. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were responsive and clear with directions for staying at the property. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing location and beautiful home!

This house was absolutely perfect! Cindy was wonderful and communicated quickly each time I reached out prior to our stay. She was even able to let us easily extend our trip by a day when we weren’t ready to leave yet! The house was clean, well kept, and decorated beautifully. The porch was perfect and we loved relaxing on the swing and even got to see some dolphins in the morning! The beach access was the reason we chose the place - it was such a simple walk to get to and from the house to the water and there was even a private little sandy area with Adirondack’s set up for relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The beach was never crowded, and we could easily walk to duck donuts in the morning! The only thing we didn’t realize before booking was that there wasn’t a bathtub, which could be a little tough for someone with a little one, but it was entertaining teaching our 4 year old to take a shower and it went great! We highly, highly recommend this home and these hosts!! Thank you Cindy and Dave!

Beach view was excellent. We saw whales and several dolphins. The only thing we missed in the check in processes was that liens were not provided. Other than that this was a excellent stay. Location was waking distance to a few shops and restaurants.
