You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

KH Escape! Pool+Tennis+Basketball+0.8 mi to Beach!

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located condo on the west-side of the bypass-you are a quick drive to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc! Enjoy the association pool Memorial Day to last week in September; tennis and basketball courts all year dawn to dusk! Easy access north to Duck/Corolla or south to Manteo or Hatteras and beyond!
The space
Enter thru the gated patio at ground level to the the front door of your condo. This door leads you into the kitchen/dining/living/laundry rooms and half bath on the first level. Take one set of stairs up to two master suites. The queen bedroom whas a slider door that leads out to a balcony with views of the ocean is the distance. The king bedroom has a large window with similar views.
Guest access
You will have full access to all areas with the exception of locked owners closets.
Cusinart AirFryer available for use in kitchen and crockpot!

Your reservation comes with several discounts to local businesses!

Condo Association Pool/Court Access:
The pool opens the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend and closes the last Sunday in September. The pool hours are 9am – 8pm until Labor Day and 9am-7pm after Labor Day.

The tennis / basketball court is open all year. The hours are dawn-dusk.

Please Note: The association has the right to change the availability of these amenities at anytime however this is not related to your accommodation booking and therefore no discounts/refunds will be awarded if these amenities are not available during your stay.
Other things to note
Please bring your own beach towels.
One bath towel and wash cloth provided per person.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Gather used towels: Leave in a pile in hamper or bathroom. Start a load of towels if you would like - not a request! Leave beds alone - do not strip!
Throw trash away: Remove all trash from house (kitchen, bathroom, etc) place in dumpster outside of house. Make sure all dishes are clean, dry and put away. 
Turn all lights off. Set AC to 74 in summer and Heat to 68 in the winter at departure. Lock all doors & windows at your departure. If a key was used please put it back in lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing Place!

Communication was early and walked you through the check-in process, which was super easy. Once we arrived it had everything it listed and then some, cozy spaces, anything you need in a kitchen to cook and easy to use tv and internet. Clean accomodations and communication during stay was great when we had some simpler questions. Pool was fantastic, we did not use the tennis and basketball courts due to heat. Close to the beach (walkable yet you may want to drive), the Wright Brothers memorial, mini-golf and other activities. Plenty of grocery stores in the area for food. Would stay again for sure!!
