"This home is far more beautiful than the pictures can show; it's earthy and artistic, and not in the "cliche" desert way. The color scheme echoes the desert sunsets, and the furnishings and decor are fascinating as well as functional. The hosts were incredibly responsive, with suggestions about places to eat and things to see, while not being at all intrusive. We came to Tucson to experience the wildlife, and it could not have been better situated for visits to Kitt Peak, Mount Lemmon, and Madera Canyon. Best of all, the Saguaro National Park and Ironwood National Monument were both minutes away, and the surrounding area has areas with water and agriculture, which led to a parade of toads following the first rains of the season. On a related note, the AC is an evaporative cooler; it works differently from a freon AC and requires very dry air to work efficiently, so don't expect it to get as cold inside during monsoon season. "

"We had high hopes for this property. The pictures show a hot tub in the backyard which we were all very excited for. The hot tub would not go up over 95. We had to flip the breaker many times because the hot tub would flip the breaker off. Even once running, it never went up over 95. Very big disappointment.Additionally, smoke detectors kept going off in the house, although nothing was burning, and no one was smoking or burning any food. This resulted in multiple calls to the property manager, and also resulted in the fire department arriving once, and the fire department calling me to confirm they didn’t need to show up again. This was on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, which was very inconvenient. Property manager said that they would try to make it right and refund us some money. But of course, after we left, it has only been crickets from the property manager. No solution or compensation ever made for all of the troubles of dealing with the fire department at midnight on Christmas Eve, and then being woke up by the fire department again at 7 AM on Christmas morning. I wish we wouldn’t have stayed here, many other great places in the area. I would avoid this place in the future."

"This is very hard to even not give 100 percent satisfied review. This is our first private home rental. There were a few bad things during our stay. Fist there was a cleaning person/s that was still there when our family first arrived, and we got there hour after check in time. The man cleaning didn't mop house and clean thoroughly. But owner compensated us by giving us a late check out. But other bad thing is they should disclose lots of flying insects and should be better prepared like bug repellent spray to put on yourself and kids. Kids were scared of different types of flying insects. We had to drive several miles away to get bug repellent stuff. But house was very cozy, beautiful pool and hot tub that was great. BBQ grill was great. Its kind of like camping but with a house in wilderness. There was deer in later morning that went through yard. Beautiful but was surprised about those few things. Owner had everything available for guests. All kitchen stuff we needed to cook. Beautiful towels and betting."
