Kokura Castle

Traditional Japanese gardens and a moat surround this picturesque replica castle, providing a peaceful break from the bustle of Kitakyushu.

Railways and trains play a major role in Japan transportation system and it is something all visitors will remember by when they leave Japan. The entire system is very efficient and in my experience all trains are precise and punctual to the minute.

Rail travel is one of the best in Japan and here in the port area of Kokura is a railway museum which displays some old trains and also provide hands on fun for kids bad adults alike.

Worth a visit if in the area and it has some really nice souvenirs too!
