Beautiful room with traditional and modern Japanese influences. Beds very comfortable. Lovely staff. Laundry room and Onsen were really great. Bettei area of hotel had its own entrance/exit and lift, which made coming and going very quick and easy. Very convenient location.

This place is a gem. Excellent location, friendly staff, fantastic amenities, smart room features, spacious rooms. I strongly recommend Kiyomizu Elite Terrace to anyone wanting to be within walking distance to the best attractions in Kyoto.

Getting a washer or dryer took a very long time because people would either forget about their stuff or add 60 minutes. Would be helpful if there was a basket to put someone else’s clothes, so you could take your turn (give a 10-15 pickup window or it goes in a basket). Breakfast was fantastic!

Overall really nice hotel, staff were abit rude when I asked for extra linen they said I only booked for two people even though my booking said three. Another downside was right next to railway so it got noisy from the tracks of a night time

The hot springs spa was amazing and very useful. It had different options for you to soak in from very hot to not so hot. I loved the hot pool with the cold bar to rest your head on. It made the experience that much more exciting. Overall very good time there and will definitely come back.
