"Ria’s home right on the beach in Nopigia Kissamos is such a special, beautiful place. The house was spotless, well-appointed, and perfect for 2-4 adult travelers or a couple with children. The kitchen has everything you need and the covered deck that looks out over the water has plenty of space and lounge chairs for everyone. But what really made our trip wonderful was Ria herself. She met us when we drove up, late on a Saturday evening and was nearby whenever we needed suggestions on what to see or do. She could not have been kinder or more generous. This home is in a perfect location, centrally located, private and peaceful. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking to spend some time in a lovely part of Crete. We stayed first week of April, we had beautiful weather all week and most everything had just opened for the season, it was a perfect time to visit. When we return to Crete we will stay with Ria again."

"Lovely hotel - room was very comfortable, staff very pleasant. Much more upscale than your usual Greek hotel and a good price. Free welcome drink on arrival - however they wouldn’t allow a G and T which was a shame! Spacious balcony and nice sea view. Would highly recommend :-) "

"The studio was fantastic for two people and more spacious than I'd anticipated. It's in a great spot overlooking the town and very secluded, which is one of the reasons we chose it. The pool isn't overlooked and has amazing views all round and, on the occasions we used it, we had it to ourselves. The gardens were beautiful too. However, perhaps the best aspect of it all was the host, Arianna. She was extremely helpful and, having got to know your likes and dislikes, offered various suggestions for trips out. We took her advice and weren't disappointed at all, we'd certainly have missed out on things had it not been for her help. On one occasion, the toaster stopped working and she was round with another one minutes after receiving my message! The place is absolutely recommended, thank you Arianna."

"We stayed in the nearby Keramoti villas in 2013. The views, the peace and tranquillity brought us back again but this time to Helios. Helios is bigger and more luxurious. All bedrooms are large and well furnished. The master bedroom on the first floor is superb with its bath tub by the window and it’s only large balcony. The living room and kitchen area are very spacious and well equipped. Of course we spent most of our time outside enjoying the large terrace and pool and that view. Early morning and sunset were some of the most beautiful times. There is no light pollution so the stars as so clear and we saw a super moon. The nearby beaches are rocky but you can easily find your way in for a deep water swim. The small fisherman’s port 1.5km down to the north below Villa Magical View is excellent for a dip after a walk or run. We found the beach on from Elafonisos called Kedrodasos to be the best albeit a trek through a rocky path to get there. Well worth it. Beautiful and not commercialised. We didn’t go far afield to eat and the food can be a bit limited but there is good fish at the Sunset Fish at Sfinari and Taverna Lefteris in Kampos is very good. Make sure you load up at Lidl in Chania though as local supermarkets are limited."
