"We traveled all the way from America to stay at Full Moon Island Resort, and it exceeded every expectation we had.
We stayed in the King Villa, and it was absolutely exquisite. The Khmer architecture felt like something out of a dream, and every detail of the villa was stunning. We originally booked this stay for the beauty of the villa, but what truly made it unforgettable was the people and the heart of the resort itself.

"A hidden paradise by the sea! Stunning views, peaceful beach, and friendly staff. Some room maintenance and more beach loungers would make it perfect."

"Hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep in. Bathroom is crammed in so you have to stand over the toilet to shower. Water doesn’t drain properly so every time you use the toilet you have to walk through a puddle. Sheets and towels were clean, although you do have to pay a deposit to get a towel at all. Air conditioning was good. "

"Short but wonderful stay in this little haven of natural paradise. The staff are perfect: very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Big thanks to them all 🙏"

"We only spent 5 nights but could have spent a lifetime. Palm Beach is ideal for families with kids or couples looking for a quieter option on Koh Rong away from the party hotspots, while also still offering cheap drinks and music for those seeking a laid back beach vibe. Scooter rentals are available right from the property so although it is further removed from other areas of the island, it is easy to get anywhere you’d like to explore. "Great location - quiet end of the beach!
The bungalows were lovely.
Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands.
Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests."

Pristine beaches and mangrove forests invite kayaking adventures along the untouched coastline of this coastal sanctuary. Nearby Botum Sakor National Park offers wildlife spotting opportunities where elephants and sun bears roam through one of Cambodia's largest protected areas.
"Watching the sunset from the private beach was a highlight of my stay. More shaded areas and sunbeds would allow guests to enjoy the beach comfortably during the day."
"I would like this place to remain as naturally as possible, close to nature, clean, and peaceful. For those who want something more lively, there's Long Set, provided that this place doesn't become like Long Set and remains authentic. The only thing that needs improvement is the boat transport. The crossing isn't comfortable, especially when the sea is rough. I think you'll get there quickly. As for the staff, they're excellent. The Khmer people so warm and welcoming that they remain so for as long as possible."

The food was amazing, and great mix of European and Khmer options. Martin the bartender was fabulous. The owner is hands on and always around to accommodate any requests and ask for feedback. She hires tons of locals and treats everyone as family. The bungalows are fairly rustic but perfect for nature lovers seeking an authentic tropical island experience. We ever had a Tokay Gecko visit us a couple of nights! We will definitely be back one day. "
"Room and views from the room were outstanding!
Staff very helpful, rooms immaculate and fantastic services included at no extra charge (paddle boards, kayak)

Vila went above and beyond to make every part of our stay enjoyable and memorable. He was always available, quick to respond to anything we needed, and even surprised us with a birthday cake, which meant so much. As an added bonus, he took us to nearby King Island, showed us around, and helped us truly experience everything that tiny island has to offer. He is a true international treasure, and we feel incredibly grateful to have crossed paths with him.
Every single member of the staff at Full Moon was kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like family. My mom and I mentioned that we really wanted to try fish amok, and one evening they surprised us by preparing it for dinner. The chef did an absolutely phenomenal job. It was quite literally the best meal of my life. And honestly, all of the food throughout our stay was wonderful.
Thank you to everyone at Full Moon Island Resort for making our time in the islands so personal, special, and unforgettable. We cannot wait to return. 💛🌴"
"Beautiful location, it was quite no loud Getto music that was a big plus. Breakfast was good. Easy walk to several restaurants at other resorts if you wanted. The only negative was the desk staff didn’t seem as friendly as the rest of the staff not sure if they were having a bad week or just not as friendly. "
"We spent four nights on Long Set Beach and absolutely loved it. The beach itself is stunning — white sand, clear blue water, and easily the nicest spot we found on the island.
The hotel served good food, and there were one or two casual bars and restaurants within walking distance, which made evenings really easy. They’re also in the process of building a new bar and reception area at the hotel (the noise was minimal and away from the rooms so didn’t bother us).
The staff were great throughout our stay. They were friendly, helpful, and arranged both a boat trip and our ferry tickets without any hassle.
Overall, a beautiful location with lovely service — we’d happily stay again."
"The resort was very lovely. The pool and restaurant had an amazing view of the surrounding area. The breakfast options were vast and very delicious. The customer service from the resort staff and management were top class. Last but definitely not least, the bungalow my wife and I stayed was incredible. I would totally recommend this place for couples, families, and groups of friends. "
