"While the hotel was nice and the staff very courteous, the maintenance of the property is not up to what you would expect for the amount it charges. The walls had seepage all over the property and the paint and plaster was flaking off in our room. Additionally, they had these unpainted cement repairs all over the place. "Although a little further away from the obvious tourist drawcards of Agra than we first realised, we were welcomed by the most endearing family who lived on the property and served as the caretaker/security staff. Perhaps one of our deepest experiences where a complete lack of our native English language,was more than made up for by the sincerity that the family showed. The property itself is very new ,but very secure and as long as you factor in transport via taxis etc is a lovely clean place....

"On arrival to the hotel the staff were very welcoming and professional. All the staff were smartly dressed. We were offered a paid upgrade to a suite with a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal. We were then shown to our suite by the gentalment at reception. The suite was fitted with a large oval bath, shower and toilet and a separate vanity toilet. Every thing was clean and tidy. Fully air conditioned and we were presented with a welcome gift of chocolates. All the staff were very helpful and provided us with extra bottles of water with no fuss. We ate on the Sky Deck which was located on the rooftop with a fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. The waiters and chef that were on that evening were very helpful but regrettably we can not remenmber their names. As we were the remaining guests on the rooftop we requested them to turn off the music so we could soak up the ambience of our surroundings. They brought over bug repelent incense around us but unfortunatley the bugs love me for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. So if you are like me please use extra spray. The Food was excellent in both the rooftop and at breakfast. This Hotel has a 5 start rating and very much deserves it. The surrounding area doesnt do it any favours but the hotel in our opinion was exceptional. "
