Red Meadow Lodge: Experience the Serenity of Nature on the Edge of Glacier Park

"We stayed at the Red Meadow Lodge north of Polebridge for a week in late July. The property is one of the best-appointed vacation rentals I've stayed in: robust array of kitchen tools (both old-fashioned and more modern), professional ice maker, one gas grill, one Weber, outdoor griddle, and a well-stocked pantry. The Lodge has a nice yard with lots of spots for sitting, including a covered balcony off of one of the bedrooms. It also has an assortment of indoor and outdoor games (corn hole, horseshoes, etc).The Lodge is equipped with gear to enjoy the area including bear spray, bug repellant, fishing rods, etc. Our packing list would have been greatly simplified knowing these were available!The views to Glacier National Park across the river are beautiful, and wildlife is abundant. We spotted bald eagles, sandhill cranes, ground squirrels and deer. Beds are generally comfortable. If you open the house overnight, it is highly effective to keeping the house cool, with the exception of the third bedroom (with two twin beds). Tips: Polebridge is off the grid - no cell signal, but there is good WiFi on site. Getting to the home requires miles of driving on unpaved roads. This isn't a complaint (we knew what to expect).The property manager was excellent. Prior to our arrival, she was highly responsive to a few inquires and graciously sent back a few items we left behind.Overall, this is a fantastic spot. We would definitely return."

"Terrific location. 5 minute drive to the Polebridge ranger station entrance to Glacier. Minimal crowds via that entrance.The cabin was excellent. Everything was in great working order and the views from the deck are amazing."
