"We had a great time on our UP vacation. The cabin had everything we needed, and the location was excellent because it put us within a half hour drive of most of the waterfalls, hiking and sightseeing we wanted to do. Our host was very knowledgeable of the area, and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Beautiful lake and views to be had here."

"Great location in a small town, literal 2 minute walk to the lake. House was old, but adorable! Lots of character in her. Definitely a unique stay for us. Would 100% recommend! There is no air conditioning, which I didn’t notice until after we got there. Fortunately, the weather was great and (in general) pretty cool. We just opened the windows. It was much warmer upstairs, but fans are provided in the rooms. My kids didn’t mind. It was perfect for our little family getaway! The coffee shop in town is a must visit! They have great pasties. Make sure to get groceries before you get to town. Thanks!"

"Susan was an awesome host. Grand Marais is a quaint town. I would recommend bringing most of your food as there are few restaurants and the grocery store is small. The views of Lake Superior are tremendous and the rock hunting is amazing."

"Amazing place. Stayed with a group of 12 and everyone had their own bed and never got bored of things to do. Basketball, hot tub, card table, outdoor stuff nearby. Highly recommended"

"The property was easy to find. There were no food trucks but the driveway was visible. The cabin was neat and clean, just a few cobwebs and insects, but that's to be expected in the woods. We appreciated the wi-fi, TV & streaming to relax at night after a busy day. I was disappointed that there was no picnic table or other chairs outside. We wanted to make a fire at night but there was nowhere to sit. The water temp & pressure were unstable and made showering unpleasant. Overall it was a comfortable place to sleep while visiting the UP, just a few minutes drive from Munising and Pictured Rocks."
