"Perfect location to explore upper Kingston on foot. Historic quirky building. Convenient free off street parking. Don’t be put off by the parking area/rear facade. Once you step through the front door you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the artistic wall stenciling and stylish landing. Room was well appointed as pictured on line. Thoughtfully laid out and decorated. Nice sheets and indulgent bath towels. Great water pressure. Spotless room. Gracious hosts. Very comfortable."

"Old, worn-out, dark and dingy. Furnishings were stained and streaky, carpet was stained and dirty/sticky. Bathroom was clean but worn out. Good for a night’s rest while on the road, but would not stay here again."

"Great location, easy short walking distance to several popular restaurants. We walked to a sports restaurant/bar and had no worries about DUI or taxis. Staff was very friendly, room was quiet and clean. This is our third or fourth annual trip here for the Rhinebeck car show. Hotel is a very short drive to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Reasonable rates and free coffee & breakfast. "

It is rare to find a stay that balances authentic historical character with the high-end amenities of a boutique hotel, but this place nails it. What Made the Stay Stand Out: The Atmosphere: The restoration of the carriage house is stunning. It feels cozy, private, and incredibly intentional. The attention to detail in the decor creates a warm, "home away from home" vibe that you just can't get at a standard hotel. The Amenities: Everything was pristine. The linens were high-quality, the space was spotless, and the little touches—like the curated coffee selection and local recommendations—made a huge difference. Location: Ideally situated! It was quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep but close enough to the heart of Kingston that we could easily explore the local shops and dining scene. The Hosts: Communication was seamless. They were professional, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in maintaining such a beautiful property. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a unique, stylish, and comfortable base for your time in Kingston, look no further. I’m already planning my return trip. Highly recommended!"
