"My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. Safety was of no concern on this trip. The people were wonderful and the food fantastic. We visited 7 castles while here, and went to the cliffs of Moher. We saved an incredible amount of money doing this ourselves versus going on tour buses. Do be aware back roads can be extremely narrow. I surely brushed the rental car against hedgerows on occasion. Rent a small narrow car for this neck of the woods. A big SUV would have been very difficult to keep on your side of the road, on backroads . Our Host Margaret was wonderfully accommodating. "

The cottage was so welcoming and we loved every moment we had there. Any questions we had were always answered extremely quickly. "This was a gathering from the us and we met at Connie wonderful home.From the original house to the horses in the yard we couldn't have been happier. Connie met us at the house and explained all the workings. She anticipated what we would need and had it all there. A welcome basket, activities for the kids and all the hot water and towels we could use. There was ample space for us to gather and to be seperated. Thank you Connie for making our stay so enjoyable."
