My friends and I found The Blessing to be a welcoming and lovely environment in which to spend time together! It was conveniently located relative to the beach and to grocery stores. Will definitely try to stay there again if visiting the area.

Amazing trip, will be back

The blessing truly was a blessing for my wife and I’s trip to nags head, the house is awesome, there’s everything you need, very clean, cute and cozy. Will be back very soon for another weekend trip!

Comfortable, Clean and Convenient

We have stayed in many beach houses at the obx. This one ranks as one of the best. It was super comfortable, the privacy was great, everything was spotless and it was located minutes from the beach. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Great Simple Spot

Hosts were very nice and place was extremely clean. Small but had what we needed! The outdoor shower was not super useful as it was full of bottles and pine straw, and also we could never get the internet to work despite being connected to the Wi-Fi, but the kitchen was wonderful and the couch was very comfy. Overall def worth it!

Clean, renovated home in a good location

A very lovely, clean and renovated property! It’s very comfortable and spacious, for just one level. The kitchen is actually very well equipped, so don’t worry about that. There’s not any dishwasher or garbage disposal, but that was fine for just the few days we were there. It’s a good location, right across from the Publix grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It looked like there was a fire pit in the backyard from the pictures, but there wasn’t any when we got there.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this very beautiful, very clean, and comfortable house. It is so close to the Wriight Brothers Museum, which was awesome! We were able to walk to the beach and to minigolf too. Lots of great food just a quick drive. Accessability to the house was great for my mother-in-law, who has a bad knee. You can drive right up to the front porch and it's just 2 or 3 steps up to the front door. We hope to visit again. Just one reminder to bring your own shampoo and body wash. :)

Thankful at Casa Blessing

We had a fantastic holiday at Casa Blessing! We arrived in town rather early and I texted the owner to see if we could check in, I did not hear back when we arrived after our 7 hour trip. We stayed away a little longer but the kiddo and dog were done with the car so we checked in. We were grateful that they were very welcoming! The house is just as described in the listing, very clean and organized. We had everything we needed to cook (reheat) our thanksgiving meal and thoroughly enjoyed being cozy with our daughter who came up from East Carolina to spend the holiday with us! The town was hopping for a chilly weekend. We explored north and south OBX, went to the movies (really crowded!) and ate at the Jolly Roger which was a Christmas wonderland. The downside is the distance to the beach, crossing the major street is not fun in a car let alone walking, but it was a quick car ride over. Also take note that the road is busy in front of the house, I worried our dog would run out and it could be a concern for small kids. We came down to be close to our daughter and will book again!

Good comfortable stay

We enjoyed our time on the OuterBanks, the house was a good fit for our family of 3, thinking it is a bit newer as there weren’t any beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards - which would have been extremely helpful but overall the location wasn’t too bad). We did wish at one point that there were a bit more practical items, extra roll of toilet paper (thank goodness we had a box of Kleenex), extra trash bags, a few hot pads…things like that but all-in-all it worked out okay. There were TV’s in both bedrooms as well as the living room with access to Netflix, washer and dryer, full kitchen with both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig, they even had several games to play including CornHole. Check in and check out super simple, and getting in and out of the house very convenient with no need to worry about keys.

Not as advertised

First the pluses - the owner is incredibly responsive, both in time and in helping solve any issue. The place is clean and very easy to walk to the beach. The house is advertised as having two full bathrooms. There is only one. This was a major issue for us as we had invited others that needed a separate bathroom and we had to cancel them. I reached out to the owner and they pretty much told me it is what it is.

Rough start but resolved....

We arrived to discover that despite being advertised as a 2 bathroom, this was in fact only a 1 bathroom home. I called the owner and was told the outdoor shower counted as the 2nd bathroom. The outdoor shower was overgrown with vines and was being used for storage of chemicals--it was unusable and certainly not a 2nd bathroom. Thankfully VRBO was able to intervene and get us a resolution. The house itself is nice and clean. No dishwasher FYI. The backyard contained trash and broken glass so not able to be used for the dogs (which had been a draw for us to select this home). A chair was sitting outside the bathroom window, which was odd. But the house was nicely appointed and clean. The location is conveniently located to groceries and shopping. The grills were nice to have. The walk to the beach wasn't too far.

Nothing short of amazing!

We went for vacation and to celebrate our youngest turning 6! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Maria was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely come back!

A little disappointed

The kitchen was missing a lot of necessary items for cooking and eating in which was pretty frustrating. The outdoor shower was also not usable as it was essentially used as a storage closet and covered in yard debris. However the house was very neat and was in a convenient location for walking to the beach and grocery store.
