Outerbanks "Brand New" lovely cozy beach cottage lower level apartment located less than a half mile from the Atlantic ocean (The BEACH) & the Albemarle sound where you can see beautiful sunsets, putt putt, movie theater, Food Lion & Publix, and the biking/running/walking path on the water front, the Wright Brother's Memorial all located within a mile:) The apartment has two "KING" size beds in each room and the bathroom is accessible privately from each room. This is a handicap apartment with no stairs to climb. It has a fully equipped kitchenette (no stove). We offer an induction cooktop along with pans and spatula to make eggs or cook a nice meal. We have a 10 cubic size refrigerator with a full freezer with ice trays.

Your space consists of the lower level of the house only ~ Low Tide Beach Shack~ The apartment is a brand new renovation with new flooring and new carpet in the bedrooms. It has 2 separate bedrooms with kings beds in each room. Each room has direct access to the bathroom with private entrances.
The kitchenette has a beautiful new granite counter top with a toaster oven, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, salt & pepper and all the kitchen amenities. There is a separate living area with a pull out couch, a leather chair, and nice size TV, and a dining area with bench seats.
Your outdoor space consists of the side yard with a nice grass area and the tiki bar under the carport with an outdoor refrigerator and bar stools. We also have a round table for two in the front area to enjoy outdoor morning coffee.
The upstairs level of the house is rented separately and they have their own private space & entrance in the back of the house.
You can also rent out both units if it fits your family's needs for your future vacation.

The lower lever of the house is your rental space ~Low Tide Beach Shack~
You have a foot wash/shower hose located on the right side of the house and you have access to the tiki bar and outdoor refrigerator plus the side front yard grass area.
Other things to note
Low Tide Beach Shack is located in a very nice quiet safe neighborhood. So please no parties or loud vehicles late at night! Thank you for respecting your neighbors✌🏼
The upper level can be rented out separately as it has a completely separate entrance and separate area away from this part of the house.

Had a wonderful stay here. The unit was clean and the beds very comfortable. Great amenities. Perfectly located for sightseeing in both the northern and southern parts of the OBX. The downstairs unit wasPerfect for our family of four. The king sized beds were ver nice for us to be able to spread out comfortably. Everything was nice and clean and the provided toiletries/amenities were perfect for our short, two night stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Quick OBX Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very clean and the perfect place for our little weekend getaway. Very close to the beach, a lot of local activities and clear communication with the owners. I’d definitely recommend visiting, the only thing to be aware of is it is below a house that can be rented out and we did hear the neighbors pretty often. But overall it didn’t really bother us.

Nice getaway

My family enjoyed a brief stay and found this rental to be a cozy spot to enjoy the Outer Banks. The bedrooms are quite large, it was clean, and the location is close to restaurants, a grocery store, the beach, etc. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway for a Couple or Small Family

We spent 3 nights during Spring Break and thoroughly enjoyed the area. The location is great, within walking distance of Publix, Putt Putt, beautiful sunset views, and so much more. The beaches, lighthouses, and Jockeys Ridge were wonderful experiences that weren’t far away. The space was clean, bright, inviting, and well stocked. We look forward to returning!

Short getaway

Great place for a few people!

I stayed here with my son and his friend. It was a great house in a great location. The king bed is SOOO comfortable! It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. My only suggestions would be to add instructions for turning on the shower head and leaving a few extra trash bags as the can is a bit small. Absolutely minor things and would absolutely stay here again!

Cute and Cozy

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we were not sure where to stay or what to expect. This house is located near many nearby attractions which made it very convenient. The beds are huge and probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The house is very clean and stocked with everything in the listing. We appreciated the welcome email from the hosts since it gave several suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Our only complaint is that we didn’t plan to stay longer.

Good place not great

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to the beach, Wright Brother's Museum or even going to other islands to do things. We loved horseback riding on Hatteras Island! The little space is cute and thoughtfully organized to maximize use. The areas for improvement would be that the towels had a horrible mildewy smell that couldn't be ignored. There is an exterior light that is taped on because they do not want it shut off at night and it shines directly into one of the bedrooms even with the shades pulled.. I believe room darkening curtains would take care of the problem. Lastly, all three nights that we were there the upper cabin had three extra cars almost blocking our space and they were loud until 10pm. Thankfully, the extra cars left and they quieted to a normal level for the night.To be fair, I did not bring these issues up with the owners because we managed with the towels, switched rooms for sleeping and the neighbors did quiet down by 10. We stayed in 4 vacation rentals on this trip and this one was just a little disappointing in comparison with the rest.

Amber was very prompt at getting back to me if we had any questions. The property is as appears in the listing. It’s a prime location about a 2 min drive to the beach. Tons of parks to explore, close to shopping. Grocery store was a min away.
