What a great get away!!

We loved our stay here, perfect with the pool and the ocean right at your doorstep. Just beware if traveling with little ones there is a lot of nicknacks to keep away from them! But a perfect stay and sooooo relaxing.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing! Right on the beach! A view high enough to see over the dunes and far into the ocean! It was gorgeous!! The condo itself seems neglected though...The carpets were dirty. there was a layer of dust on pretty much everything. The locks didn’t work on ANY of the doors. There were no towels, sheets, or paper products. There was almost too much furniture for the size of the condo.

Great location/Needs a Good Cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and proximity to the beach cannot be beat. The pool was awesome to have as well. The unit is very dated (which was fine), but also needed a very good deep cleaning. I vacuumed before we unpacked...although the vacuum did not work well at all. There were layers of dust on the floor by the bed. Luckily we brought our own sheets even though you could purchase some from a rental service. There were multiple mattress covers on the master bed with hair in between. Really needs some attention. We were just happy to be at the beach, and let a lot of it “go.” I can say that I cleaned a lot and left it better than I found it for sure. I washed things that weren’t mine and cleaned cabinets and floors. Also swept floors and mopped inside and on the balcony. Hate to be negative as were were grateful to be there, but it needs attention from the owner.

It was an interesting condo. The bedding was absolutely disgusting. We ended up buying new to put on. It looked like it had not been washed in months. There were ants everywhere and bugs. It was ok. We enjoyed ourselves but probably would not stay there again.

Two bedrooms (twin beds in the "kids" room). A couple things though. It's not overlooking the pool. Would have liked to have what is shown in the picture. It's on the side, but still great views of the beach. All in all, very adequate for a week long vacation stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation was magical in every way. License to chill was the perfect beach front condo. We loved the location, the views from the balcony and the pool was a plus. I would recommend getting rid of the decor that’s not hanging on the walls so there is more space. I would recommend this especially in the kitchen where there is limited counter space. The condo could use a little love like updating the kitchen and bathrooms but it was not bad. I will be staying here again with my family! We absolutely loved it!

Extremely dirty. The view was nice and the condo was as pictured.. but it had not been cleaned. There was sticky crap on walls, food in the oven drawer, the tables still had crumbs on them. The baseboards have not been cleaned in probably years. There was old candy/ wrappers in various corners on the floor. I think the company that manages this property literally doesn't clean between guests. The check out instructions request that you sweep and vaccuum. We made the best of it, and I did a lot of cleaning myself and left it in better shape than we found it. Upon checkout, I (politely) mentioned it was pretty dirty because I didn't want us to be charged if the people after us complain, and the management company's response was 'oh yes no worries we get that a lot..' I would not stay here again or at any property managed by carolina shores vacations again and I don't like leaving bad reviews but really wish I had seen a review like this to avoid booking this place..

So nice to be able to easily walk back and forth to the beach and not have to haul all your stuff each time. The views were fabulous and the property mgmt. company was great! Super organized and very helpful! The condo was also very clean and you can tell at one time it was well loved. Our only complaint was that it was in dire need of some updating. The bedding, carpets and couches must all be from the 80’s. As a result it was hard to truly relax and get a good nights sleep. We ultimately left early because of it. Disappointing...

Not cleaned well

The Villa had a beautiful view and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal. The beach was beautiful and the pool was very nice and clean. However, when we checked in the floors were dirty and the table mats still had dried food on them. There was dirt and sand on the carpet and dirt and food on the kitchen floor. We only got one towel and wash cloth per person for the entire week. There were no sheets when we arrived in the Villa and when they were dropped off later that evening in the hall, they were all the wrong sizes. Even though the Villa needed cleaned and we needed linens that actually fit the beds along with more than one towel per person, I really liked the layout and location of the Villa. If I get to go back, I'll take my own linens and towels then make someone come back and clean if needed.

Thought the place was nice. I thought it was a little misleading on ocean front/ocean view. I thought we rented an ocean front room and found out when we got to unit that it is ocean view.

Very nice!

The location is great, beach access is great. The condo was well equipped with games, puzzles, movies, etc. We even had a light bulb burn out and they had that ready too!

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this unit due to its location. We had friends staying a few blocks away so it was convenient to walk to their house. The unit it self was spacious and offered a great view of the ocean. The pool was a nice addition for our kids who don't love the beach as much as we do. A few items to note: The pool gate is a bit cumbersome but nothing owner can do about that. More of a personal preference but a suggestion none the less is remove the multiple appliances(microwaves, coffee pots) Add a Keurig for ease of coffee/tea making and less fuss than a traditional coffee maker. Better Blender for frozen drinks. Better balcony furniture/more comfortable options. We loved to sit out and watch the ocean but the chairs made it tough to stay out long. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back in the future.

Vacation you can afford!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wasn't sure about the condo rental idea because of neighbors and noise from those neighbors but we were very pleased. Neighbors were pleasant and thoughtful on the noise issue. Our rental was tastefully decorated, and had all the kitchen items needed to enjoy our stay. Would like to see better mattresses in the kid's bedroom, but room was plenty big for 2 adults to share. This unit fit 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably...loved the porch, this was used alot. Pool was refreshing and clean!! Although I didn't purchase the early check-in, thought it was ridiculous that the keys weren't handed to me until 3:55 when they had been available way before that! When you pay this kind of money for a week's stay would it really hurt to let the family in a bit early as long as it had been cleaned?? Had a great time with my mom and kids!
