Waterfront-covered decks and dockside seating areas provide the full enjoyment of waterside living. End your days on vacation by enjoying a magnificent sunset on the water. Bring your boat, a fishing pole, or crab pot, or just relax on the spacious lighted dock with water and electric service. And for your convenience, a fish-cleaning table is available to all guests who stay at Westwind. Make this your ultimate canalfront escape!

When you pull up to this epic waterfront retreat, you'll find plenty of parking under the covered Carport to get cozy for your Outer Banks vacation. Pass by the Outdoor Shower (which is great for rinsing off after a day at the beach or kayaking in the canal) as you head towards the downstairs Lounge Area where you can relax while you grill up your fresh, catch-of-the-day on the nearby Gas Grill! After dinner, walk down to the dock where you can have fun crabbing, fishing, or putting your boat in the water for a little aquatic exploration.

On the Main Level, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation and more! Enjoy the sunshine on the Front Sun Deck or make your way into the Screened-In Porch with comfortable furniture and a fan to keep the air circulating, making this the perfect place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning as you bask in the cool breezes off the canal. Inside, relax in the spacious Living Area with high ceilings and soft furniture situated around a Flat Screen TV for the best family movie nights and ideal relaxation when you need it. Cook up some fresh, local seafood in the Kitchen with modern appliances to enjoy in the open-concept Dining Area, which is easily illuminated by the afternoon sun through the glass doors leading out to the front deck, or at the Breakfast Bar nearby. Get some rest in the Queen Master Bedroom with a Private Bathroom and access to the Laundry Area with a Washer and Dryer, so mid-week washes are quick and easy. Quiet Community With Ample Attractions
Colington Harbor is a beautiful, secluded island community offering amazing views and ample opportunity for crabbing, fishing, kayaking, and an array of other watersports! Situated about 15 minutes back from the main bypass, you are never far from something fun to explore or something good to eat. Try a tasty slice from Colington Pizza (they even deliver!) or sample a crab benedict and mimosa for Sunday brunch at The Saltbox Café. Colington Café is another great place to enjoy the local fare, especially if you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary. If you enjoy cooking at home, stop by Billy's Seafood Market for a fine selection of fresh seafood including everything from shrimp and oysters to mahi-mahi and tuna. While you're out exploring, be sure to stop by the Wright Brothers National Memorial where you can experience an interactive museum about the nation's history of aviation and enjoy a 360-degree view of the surrounding beach as you stand beside the famous monument. There's also a great public bike and walking path nearby along with dozens of shops and other great activities to ensure your vacation is a blast!

Lovely get away!

My children LOVED catching crabs off the back dock! Quiet and tidy, and close to shopping, beaches, grocery stores and delicious restaurants.

The lication was great, But the place was filthy i called Seaside reality as soon as we got there screens were broken out ,sliding door broken,the place was dirty inside and out i was told they just had a storm there well arnt they checked befire the next tenant threfrigerator

Review of stay

Love the dock,screens need to be fixed,had a bird fly in and could get out. The locks on doors were were loose especially on back deck. Door knobs wobble,unable to tighten. Gutters on back need to be connected to the downspouts. Property has alot of poison ivy. Sliding door by kitchen tablr hard to open and close.
