"There was a loud wedding going on all evening so the staff was understandably busy. I was still able to get rest through the night with some noise-canceling headphones. One thing of note: the bus stops 20 minutes walk away so be wary of this if relying on public transportation. It’s not a difficult walk with bags, it just takes time."

"My siblings and I brought our mother to Ireland for her 89th birthday. We were a group of 8. We rented the boathouse and it was even more beautiful than the pictures let on. The house was very clean and ready on time. Michelle was an amazing host meeting us the first day with home made scones and a chocolate hazelnut cake. She also helped us with arranging transportation from Shannon airport to the house for our sister who missed her flight. She is amazing. The house and its surroundings were nothing less than spectacular . The light surrounding the tidal basin and estuary changed everyday and was magical. It truly is a very special peaceful place by the sea.Thank you again Michelle for all your help and advice."

"Part of the charm of this great B&B is finding and getting to it. The road gets narrower and narrower, and you are very aware of the charms of rural Ireland. The B&B was well maintained and clean. There is a den downstairs and access to an outdoor space, but we did not use during stay. Our room was basic but very comfortable, spacious enough for two beds, and had a lovely view. The innkeeper is a wonderful hostess and baker. Our made to order breakfast was delicious and more than generously sized. We were even sent on our way with buttered and wrapped scones for the road."
