The family rooms were brilliant for us and the two kids. Staff were great with a special mention of Sam on front desk who was fantastic and incredibly welcoming and friendly. Nice hotel and would stay again!!

Beautiful hotel. The rooms seem to be soundproofed. Breakfast was lovely. Gym facilities were great as were the spa treatments.

Lovely hotel, rooms are a perfect size with the family rooms. The pool area could do with updating but the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were good.

Exellent stay . Lovely new renovated rooms . Only issue with the room was the very bad condensation dripping off the windows and frame . Great swimming pool .. lovely breakfast . And Friendly staff Overall a great stay for the night

Used for quick getaway, stayed sunday-wednesday and had one of the suites (212). Other people have mentioned how cold the rooms were - couldnt be further from the truth!!! Everywhere was clean, staff were very friendly, food was excellent, bar service was extra excellent (cant remember his name but the carribean chap). The gym was very good. The only downside was how the other guests treated the pool area - there were children and parents treating the place like the seaside with no consideration for others or the members, young children in the jaquzzi/sauna/steam. Spoke to a member of staff and they are powerless for fear of negative reviews. Would say though i didnt realise it was half term, and we adjusted our times for when the little darlings were out!!! I would fully recommend this hotel and will definetly stay again.

We stayed with 3 children whilst visiting legoland, hotel and staff were lovely. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Our room was a great size for the 5 of us and the beds were comfortable.

The unrefurbished rooms are very dated and old - a shame when you know there are nicer rooms in the hotel that really elevate your experinece. Noise seems to travel when you’re in the rooms, not at night but in the morning and afternoon if feels like you can hear every conversation going

It’s impossible for me to find positive words to use but the hotel was a complete suprise. Comfortable clean room, overly clean hotel, the spa was amazing. My 6year old was able to freely enjoy the pool without a problem.

Fabulous hotel
We had an excellent stay here. All members of staff we came across gave exceptional service. We enjoyed using the pool facilities and bar area. My daughter especially liked the fish tanks on every floor.

Great hotel and we were in one of the updated rooms which was lovely. The only negatives were that the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was less than luke warm.

Our favourite hotel
Second time we have stayed here as a family. Stayed in a family room with our three children. Huge room! Very clean. Used the pool area which was also clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The children love the fish tanks in the middle of each level. Beautifully decorated for Christmas Looking forward to our next stay!

Excellent stay. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Swimming pool was OK, possibly could do with some updating butg clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, though cooked food could have been hotter. Bar and entrance area very welcoming and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Good sized room. An improvement would be a small room fridge. Ensuite lovely. Spacious shower. Used hotel as base over Christmas to visit family living near.

Fab hotel, all staff so good with the kids, massive room for our family of 4 and the food was delicious! Little touches like colouring for the kids at dinner and a welcome pack for the children really make a difference, definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel is nice. However the room we had was a suite, which was fine. How ever the heating was not very good as they had put two electric heaters in the room and it needed them. The not good part was there was no hot water to basin and the basin did not drain away. The shower was scolding hot and the temperature control did not work at all. So a shave and a shower were just about impossible.

We stayed in a family room on the 3rd floor. We were right next to the lift, which didn’t bode well at numerous times in the early hours when people congregated outside our room. Sadly, it wasn’t the best night’s sleep over the 2 nights.

Very disappointing!!!
Stayed here for the night in a suite which looked really good and impressive on the website. When we checked in though it was a very different picture, the wallpaper was peeling off in multiple locations, absolutely soaking carpet around the bathroom area, loose plug points and aircon that would just do its own thing no matter what we tried. We had 2 portable radiators in the suite, 1 of which was broken, at this point i should have complained but it was quite late on. The king bed was 2 singles pushed together with king size quilts put over them to make it look like a king size bed, they kept splitting when you got on the bed which was a pain. I had the worst nights sleep as 2 pillows was too much and 1 was not enough. The room was so dated and in ruins that it ruined the nights stay as it was a big disappointment as when you pull up to the hotel it looks impressive, as does the lobby area etc. The food was ok and so was the service but nothing special. Really would not recommend here at all if you are going to anything near the way our room was.
