"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. "We like mid-range hotels. Our first impression of this place was disappointing, but we soon warmed up to it. The staff were so nice, the location was excellent, the beach was 20 steps from our room, the food at the restaurant was sooooo good (except instant coffee at breakfast) and it was not on the main street so it was very quiet.
