CONSTRUCTION NOTICE- Balcony Restoration Project – 1800 Atlantic
Start Date: May 2025-Estimated Completion: Spring 2026
Please be advised that a balcony restoration project will be underway at 1800 Atlantic from May 2025 through Spring 2026.
Important Notes:
-Units available for booking will not be under construction.
-All amenities, including the pool, spa, and sunning beach, will remain open and fully operational throughout the project.


This unit has a king in both bedrooms.

1800 Atlantic is directly on the Atlantic ocean in Key West, adjacent to Smathers Beach the City Beach with a variety of watersports activities available.

The property itself features assigned secure parking spaces, 3 lighted tennis courts, one of which is the only clay court in Town. There are beautiful botanical gardens with picnic and BBQ areas.

The Olympic size heated pool sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, There is also a 20 person bubbling Jacuzzi tub by the pool, a Sauna also if you so desire.

The pool is the envy of many of our island visitors.
Assigned parking is one of our many amenities.

The historic area is less than a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride.
Fish, snorkel, dive, dine, jet ski, theater or simply just relax, it is your vacation and we are to help. We will share our island secrets and you will be back.

The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Great condo near the beach.

Next to the beach, it is possible to walk to Duvall St. We walked to the Hemmingway house while staying here. Very nice clean condo.

Quiet beach side condo

The place was easy to access, and check in. Was very clean with plenty of extras, towels, cooler, pillows. A balcony that over looks a beautiful walkway outside but it does not have an ocean view. Overall everything was great!

Golden Girls get away

The location was wonderful and quiet. Great pool and views while at the pool. Nice garden view from the room. Easy drive to Duval Street and other attractions. The biggest downside is the very dated and worn furnishings.

Great Spot in Key West

Nice condo building in Key West for our stay. Good facility amenities with the tennis courts, pool and workout room, plus pickleball courts a short bike ride away. Not close to Duval Street, so a car or bike is suggested.

Botonical Island Codo Review

The property was nice. We wanted a view of the ocean but our view was blocked by beautiful Botonical Gardens. The beach area was not soft sand you could walk in. Overall it was good. It depends on what you’re wanting as to whether or not you should stay there.

Comfortable and perfect for leisure time!

Very spacious, which allowed some privacy for family members. Bedrooms were comfy with super cute decor. We had some trouble with our entry code and met the maintence man, who shared some great food places and activities, saving us money and time. Great guy and very helpful. Everything is as pictured, including the pool with an ocean view and check out was very simple with good instructions posted on the property for our stay. I would highly recommend this place.

The only complain we had was there was not much TP left for us and we had to go buy some because they don't provide TP and Paper towels, etc. For what the place cost you would think they could provide TP!

Beds… ugh!

Property was great, location was very good. Condo itself is dated but extremely clean, but the beds leave much to be desired. The master bed squeaked like crazy every time we moved, and the mattress was fairly uncomfortable. Our son complained about the second bed being just the same.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was very quiet and the outdoor area was well maintained. The pool area was nice but you can't really use the beach. The condo itself was clean and was well stocked but felt like someone inherited their parents condo and has not updated anything or gotten rid of anything since. The bedrooms were great. They were decorated well and the beds were very comfortable. They each had remote control ceiling fans that worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked but it was just a bit dated. This was definitely someone's primary residence prior to being a rental. Every drawer and cabinet had stuff in it and most of it should be thrown out, like old electronics and phones. The living room was homey but the couches had stains on the all the cushions. This was mentioned in a prior review and the owner addressed the issue saying the cushions would be laundered or something but it does not look like it was actually done. We just put clean sheets over the couches and that took care of the issue. The condo was very well stocked with towels and sheets and there was a washer and dryer and laundry soap, so using the extra two sheets wasn't an issue. The primary bathroom was very spacious but the fan didn't work and it looked a bit dingy. The second bathroom was fine but the door handle sticks and my daughter got stuck in there for a few minutes. We spent a little bit of time on the patio and while there was no ocean view, it was very private and tropical. We sat at the table with some nice cold drinks. I would have liked to relax on a lounge chair but there weren't any. Other than the living room couches, the outdoor furniture is probably what I would improve first. The vertical blinds were very finicky and there were explicit instructions on how to use them or they would break so I would keep kids away from them. The condo would be amazing with just a few updates and a little purging of clutter.

We appreciated being away from a lot of the action and enjoyed being able to go to the pool or ocean. Most places to stay don't have ocean availability but we did and liked it! The condo is outdated as far as decor goes, but we really didn't go for decor.
