"This hotel is in a good location. It is NOT a 4-star property. Beds are at best 15 years old, thin mattresses, inconsistent hot water, 10 year old towels (which they do not replace everyday), thin walls (get ready to hear EVERYTHING), and very basic facilities. This would be a nice 2.5 star property."

"Have just come back from a wonderful week spent at Karmiris Studios. The location is excellently situated a short walk from the harbour and beach. The view from the balcony over the harbour and towards Marathonissi is absolutely fantastic. The resort is small and in the early season was quiet and peaceful. Not a lot to do unless you enjoy wonderful walks around the area or rent a motor boat or car. Niko is a lovely guy and was warm and friendly and very welcoming as was the whole family. The...

"It's great for a budget holiday - you get a balcony area, air con, a bed towels etc and a kitchenette - No washing up liquid, sponge, salt, oil etc. The family are nice and helpful, their English is limited but manageable to communicate. It's a 15 minute walk from the beach so we got bicycles from bicyclepower but did walk up and down for 1 day and it was fine."

"Terrible staff who do not care about their guests. Be aware that you have to pay for air conditioning and has no tv or kettle even though stated otherwise. Towels are never changed and even had holes in them. Never again! You are better off paying a bit extra to stay in nicer apartment or hotel in the area."
