"Great little hotel in the center of Kampot. Close to the restaurants and bars. Tidy, with a nice swimmable pool and very friendly and accomodating staff

"Very well placed in Kampot, walking distance to many spots (and ability to park a bike if you hire one). Very friendly, helpful (arranged a good value return bus to Phnom Penh) and English-speaking staff. Many food options just down the street.
Recommend you discuss with the owner about the various room options. "
"Great location for a weekend trip, less than 5 minutes from the entrance of Kep National Park (where you can go for a nice hike), and a 10 minute walk to the local crab market where there are lots of good seafood restaurants. The hotel is a 10-minute tuk tuk ride to the dock where boats take you to Rabbit Island. The hotel is small, has a bar and serves a simple breakfast but has no restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. Internet comes and goes but that is normal in Cambodia. The staff...

"Lovely relaxing stay here. Great pool. Very near the crab market and national park. Excellent breakfast every day and great happy hour cocktails. Very reasonably priced"
"One of the most wonderful resorts I have stayed in. The property is amazing. Walking from our room to the pool, spa, and restaurant felt like we were walking through the jungle. The daily breakfast was fantastic. The service throughout our stay was top notch. We will definitely stay here again when we visit this area in the future. "

Pros
- beautiful gardens, lush vegetation, tropical big leaf and tall trees, Instagram perfect
- rooms are big, comfortable, silent, outdoor showers have powerful water pressure, and villas are spread far apart. Amazing.
- no mosquitos (sealed doors before dinners, net over the bed)
- outstanding staff, attentive, friendly, good English, good recommendations. Kudos to the GM Jonathan, also super friendly and present, a well run establishment!
- massive swimming pool, smartly designed, deep where needed and shallow in places, ideal for lazying in it on hot days
- restaurant has good selection of food, specials and healthy options, great service staff
Cons
- beach. Tiny, dirty (plastics from the sea) and murky dark waters. Not usable at ALL.
- else, I'm struggling to find any other negatives!
Date of stay: April 2025, Villa D3
There's no good or bad villa - all the same.
Get a motorbike and go to Kep, crab market, La Plantation pepper farm - go hiking. "
"Quick family trip during big holiday. Some was quiet even with crowds everywhere and close to beach, 15 minute walk 5 minute drive.
Pool was nice, but many tiles were loose and I cut my finger, pool needs to be fixed. Water was cool and family friendly depth."
