"My stay at this hotel was amazing. I had to go ask the front desk to get my rooms cleaned and you gotta do that because you can’t expect the cleaners to clean your room when you leave your room for the day. I was informed of that when I checked in. Breakfast was okay but they lack staff because I asked one of the staff members to refill the decaf coffee because they were empty, the guy said yes will do but never did it. Luckily Starbucks was across and we got our decaf coffee from there. One more thing , don’t ever eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was disgusting , the ordered the steak frites , fried pickle and potato nachos they were all gross. The steak had a weird smell to it , it was not seasoned and cooked well. I had a runny stomach after eating there. Also the restaurant staff didn’t do a good job at cleaning the utensils cause the one I received was hella dirty . Be prepared to notice those things. Would really not recommend the food in the hotel restaurant. My time at the hotel room and place was well spent . Would definitely book this hotel again. Mind you parking is free but you gotta let the front desk know when you check in. Pool was big enough and i wasn’t able to use it because i had other prior engagements to attend. I hope that the hotel hire a new chef and more staffs to assist in the breakfast area and also housekeeping etc that was my experience during my stay this time."

"Our room was great and the staff was wonderful, but we were disappointed with the lobby restaurant. Upon checkin, I’m pretty sure we were told breakfast was included. When we went down for breakfast, the waitstaff had never heard of any such amenity. Ok, maybe we misheard. No big deal. It’s Mother’s Day and our first weekend away from our little one so we decide to eat there anyway. First, our food was delivered to a different table, so our food took quite some time to make it to us. Then the rare steak I ordered came back well done and my poached eggs were closer to hard boiled. I mean ruined it to our waitress and she was equally confused and very apologetic. She sent in an order for a steak at the correct temp and new poached eggs to go with the remainder of my breakfast. About half way through breakfast the eggs and steak made it to our table. The eggs were perfect, but the steak was over salted. I didn’t have the heart to bring it up to our server, she was working hard enough as it was. But overall our Mother’s Day breakfast left much to be desired. Other than that, the hotel was great and again the staff were top notch."

"This place was listed as VIP with a free bottle of wine. But, it looks like they are giving a free bottle for everybody for celebrating 20 years. Checkin - we were there at 4pm for checkin, they said the room is in inspection and will be given soon. All the people who came after us for 1.5 hours were given a room. Peak time. Only we were left waiting. We waited for 1.5 hours and just stepped out. We got a message at 5:45pm that our room was ready, came back and checked into the room. Turn on TV and sign into Youtube, it freezes. Olive and Hay is so busy as an external restaurant, we didn’t get a seat, guests are not prioritized. Neither is there room service from Olive and Hay. We couldn’t sit down and have breakfast, we had to go elsewhere. Checkout is prompt, not given any additional time, because they had get the cleaning done. If thats the case, why didn’t we get the room at 4? It just ruined our evening and trip to Napa."

"The rooms were very clean, a bit dated, but very comfortable. Our hot water was not working when we got there, but they got it fixed within an hour. The staff was very nice and helpful."

"The room was very comfortable & what I expected from the pictures. The best treat was the spa experience. We enjoyed the workout facility, massages, the sauna, magnesium outdoor hot tub, adult pool etc. Food was good. We enjoyed biking from hotel into town. Lovina had amazing brunch. Fan of the Napa/Calistoga Valley area! We’ll be back."
