"Property is nice, but the area is not the best in Zanzibar. Beach is right where a working fishing village is located. Not very private at all! Property is nice, grounds are ok. Overall upkeep of the property is below expectations. We switched villas and the second one was better, but not in pristine condition. Villa layout is awkward. "It's over 1 hr. drive from the airport but once you get to the hotel you would feel the peace and serenity around you enough to forget your journey. The newly built accommodation is really nice but they need to either get a king mattress of put a frame around the twin XL mattress to prevent them from separating if you roll towards the middle."
