"I had a wonderful October stay in Daniel. The cabin was clean, modern and comfortable. All amenities I usually seek in a rental: fast wi-fi, smart tvs for entertainment, modern kitchen appliances. The fridge even had a half-dozen fresh eggs from the neighbor's farm-raised chickens. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Nice, soft pillows on the beds. Nice strong cell service at the cabin which is unusual for many of the places I rent. Plenty of windows to let in the light and take in the views of the Wind, Wyoming and Gros Ventre Ranges. Picnic table and firepit to enjoy meals or evenings in the stunning landscape looking up at the clear night sky. Excellent location in Sublette County within a short drive of National Parks, National Forests and public access for outdoor activities like fishing, hunting and boating. Shops close by in Pinedale. Surrounded on three side by the Wind, Wyoming and Gros Ventre Ranges. Stunning sunrises and sunsets over the mountains every day. Plenty of wildlife in the area. I saw moose, deer, many pronghorns and even a badger during my stay. Even woke up one morning to a pronghorn in the yard, Of course, being the Cowboy State, horses and cattle everywhere. Sara and Mike were excellent hosts. I was greeted by Sara upon arrival and given a brief introduction to the cabin which was greatly appreciated. They are just down the road if anything comes up or for any advice and suggestions about the area. Communication was easy and quick."

"We found this location by chance. We had a minor issue with the toilet not working (hotel was being renovated.) The manager was exceptional, going far above and beyond what she had to do. She came from home in the middle of the night to try to fix the issue. I believe the issue was most likely related to faulty installation by the construction crew. Even though we never got the toilet working, the place was undergoing renovations…..I could not possibly recommend a better place to stay. Under any circumstances. I’m sure all the relevant issues were quickly resolved the following day. This place and staff are an absolute gem. The staff went out of their way to be kind to us, on a level that I’d never seen. Excellent, genuinely kind and considerate people. I genuinely hope that the next time, and every time, I’m in the area I get the opportunity to stay here. Absolutely wonderful."

"An older motel that has been completely refurbished. Room was very clean. Bed was VERY comfortable, Classic Retro Motel vibe. Convieniently located. I would reccomend and would stay there again."

Log Cabin Motel

"We had stayed here before some years ago and like to stay at properties with some history, like this collection of log cabins on the National Register of Historic Places and the oldest lodging in Pinedale. The cabin was cozy but note the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms which might be a turnoff for some. The hosts left oatmeal, coffee and cocoa packets (but only two and there were four of us). Only negatives were a smelly shower curtain and less then ideal cleanliness in the bathroom, and the kitchen sink strainer was nasty. Pinedale is just about 90 minutes (and a lot cheaper for everything from gas to food to lodging) south of hyperexpensive Jackson, so it makes for a good stop on the way to or from Jackson and Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs to the north. Also, there are beautiful lakes in the nearby national forest, abundant wildlife (we saw a doe mule deer and fawn right outside our cabin), and opportunities for water sports, hunting, fishing, birding, and hiking very nearby and much less crowded than the national parks."
