Nice hotel, though a bit difficult to locate the entrance, which is on the back of where you would expect it to be. Very nice staff, who hurried to make us dinner, since we arrived 20 minutes before the restaurant was closing. The surrounding area is beautiful, but we just stayed one night on our way south, so we didn't visit anything.

Picturesque hotel

Amazing little hotel in a small German town. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Food was excellent and at a good value. Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, but had a great view from the balcony. Everything else was excellent.

What a little gem. Wonderful staff! We had a great time there. Nice little restaurant and quaint rooms. The entrance is actually in the back. Take the alley between the buildings and go up the hill and around to the back of the building. It’s a little confusing but a very nice stop.

Ein tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Sehr ländlich gelegen. Service stimmt sehr. Ein Besuch lohnt sich am Abend zur Burgruine (15 min Fussmarsch).

Bonne surprise

Belle grande chambre avec un balcon. Le mobilier peut être pas le plus moderne mais confortable. Le personnel serviable et agréable. Bon petit déjeuner, bon diner à des prix raisonnables.

The hotel is a bit hard to find since it has a different name from the actual front of the hotel. Easy way is find the restaurant with the same name as the hotel. It’ll be across the street from the church. Keeping the restaurant on your left, walk down till you get to an alley where you can turn left. You’ll then see a barn on your right, keep going straight. You’ll see the hotel at the end of the street. The front of the hotel is inviting and beautiful. The room itself is a regular German room with the basics. It’s clean and we loved our balcony. Hotel staff is very friendly and spoke English which we truly appreciated. We didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast but we definitely would next time, it smelled amazing.
