"The hotel itself was fine. It was clean, and the breakfast was decent. The negative review has more to do with the staff. Initially, I booked for one night. We decided we needed two nights instead, so I cancelled the one night and booked two nights. Upon arrival, the lady at the lobby could not find my two night reservation and said I only had one night. I provided the Expedia confirmation number and Itinerary number, and showed her the email. She said those numbers did not help her and asked if I had any other emails. Finally got that situation squared away. Like all hotels, they take a card for incidentals. After our stay, I noticed that there was a charge to my card from the hotel, but nobody can tell me what for. First number I called gave me a number to a customer service hotline. Cannot get a human being on the customer service line, so I called the lobby directly. The lady who answered the phone said you will have to talk to the manager and she is not here on Mondays. I asked to leave a message to which she said, I can take a message, but it's probably better if you just call back. All that said, the hotel was fine, but the staff is either grossly undertrained, or just doesn't care. Either way, I won't be back."

"This house is so tastefully decorated and restored. Thoughtful functional touches…facial tissue, wastebaskets, charging stations, bedside tables, extra blankets on the foot of every bed, lamps just where you want them. Loved the front porch with gas fire table, great neighborhood, nice outdoor space in the back, brand new washer dryer in the basement. Very nice kitchen, nicely finished 2 baths. We loved this place!"

"Loved the location (walking distance to the Silver Mountain Lodge and parks). Comfortable beds. Nicely stocked kitchen. The community hot tub was large, clean, and very warm."
