Staff was great. Our AC was not working on a hot July!! They did come and replace it the next day. Responsive. Our ceiling leaked when someone showered. They came to check right away but needs more research to resolve.

If you are looking for a relaxing, authentic, and peaceful place to stay, this is it! The Kaua‘i Inn is incredibly quiet and tucked away, making it the perfect escape from the busier, crowded resorts. It truly feels like a hidden tropical oasis. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is so serene, and we slept incredibly well thanks to how peaceful it is at night. To top it all off, the breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to our days of exploring. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. We cannot recommend this place enough and will absolutely be back!

When we checked in we were first given a room overlooking construction and large trash bins. We were told since we booked through a third party that we were not priority for the best rooms and they were mostly sold out. We ended up paying a few hundred more per night to have a better room. Once we got there it was fabulous - ocean front, very spacious, freshly remodeled. The only drawback was the rooms on each side of us were still being refurbished, so there was some traffic and noise during the day. We found the location to be ideal for Kapaa. The beach was too rough and rocky for safe swimming but it's close to other calmer waters. The hotel staff and restaurant (we only ate at the casual bar area and coffee/breakfast place) were great.

This hotel and island as a whole is a great change of pace from Oahu. Food was really good, great spot for the beach and clean all the way around. Shuttle service was a nice break included in the fees along with the water. I would stay at this hotel again.
