"The home was pretty clean and looked like the pictures. My 2 complaints: no hot water in the morning and the communication with the host needs to be better. My original flight ended up being cancelled and I reached out to the host to advise about the change for the check in time and wasn’t changing the reservation. "The overall stay was enjoyable but the villa was advertised as 'luxury' and we feel this isn't quite the case. The area in which the villa is situated is lovely, secluded and quiet but within the villa its self the kitchen is under equipped with the bare minimum utensils, pots, pans etc. There were no 'pantry' items at all tea, coffee, salt, herbs, etc The patio furniture was very old and cushion covers were ripped. There was definately a problem with ants in the villa especially in the upstairs...
