Beautiful villa, well equipped, lovely pool, quiet rural setting.

My family and I have just returned from a fabulous week in Kefalonia staying at Villa Diana. The villa was perfect for our family of 9 including an 18 month old toddler. The villa is in a very quiet rural area only about 10 minutes from Argostoli. We all had cars which are very necessary to get around and see the island. You really need to visit the town of Fiskardo which is at the far end of the island and beautiful! and also Assos, a climb up to the castle gives you some wonderful views. The castle ruins in Argostoli have a delightful little taverna called To Kastro, it’s covered in flowers and is on the road on the way up. Back to the villa, the pool is great and a very good size. The property has everything you need in it as you would have at home. Joy is the lady that manages the property, she is very helpful and was at the property when we arrived, during the week and when we left. There are a couple of good supermarkets nearby and a couple of restaurants. One restaurant in particular The Olive Grove was a favourite serving delicious Greek food and amazing desserts, and it is just around the corner from the villa. We all watched the first England game in the World Cup on the TV in the villa, it was interesting with a commentary in Greek, very little excitement from the commentator unlike in England. All in all we all had a wonderful holiday and were sad to leave.

Great Villa

We are a family of 10 & we have had a lovely holiday accommodation staying at Villa Diana, this villa has everything that you need for a perfect holiday, the location was perfect, near to the airport & near to all the lovely bays & good restaurants, although a car is needed to get around & some of the roads are narrow but if l should want to holiday in Kefalonia Again I would certainly book Villa Diana. Sharon Williams is very efficient & her manager in Kefalonia was really helpful.

Ideal for large families

Perfect stay at Villa Diana. Communication excellent throughout process and in country support brilliant. Villa layout perfect for 12 of us with enough space to do your own thing. Pool was clean and maintained through the holiday. Walk to local tavernas a little more than expected but 15min up the hill to a lovely taverna, snack bar, cafe and shop was all we needed. Local beach beautiful and great base/location to explore the island. Thank you Sharon and Emma :)

Villa Diana was all we’d hoped for! A family holiday with 8 adults, two children and a toddler the Villa was clean, well resourced and with a fantastic pool. The beautiful grounds and location made it an ideal place to enjoy Kefelonia again. Thanks to Joy for all her help during our stay, We had an amazing time with great memories.

Villa Diana - perfect location, gorgeous and tranquil

First impressions are important, as you arrive to Villa Diana with elegant gates, driveway and spacious gardens, an illuminated house and pool which like a beacon glows in the valley, it wasn't difficult to find. Arriving as we did late evening, how welcoming to find in one of the dual kitchens, the fridge and cupboards stocked with all the basic essentials including fresh milk, eggs, butter, bread etc to get our holiday started. It's the attention to details that add up to make your stay relaxing and stress free, including regular house keeping. One of the things I always appreciate is quality Wi-Fi bandwidth, for keeping connected with work (sad as that sounds). I was pleasantly surprised to find unlike so many other Villas, (especially in the countryside) that Villa Diana boasts strong Wi-Fi, we were getting a solid 6Mpbs, which is sufficient for the basics and streaming and to keen our teens happy with their social media accounts. We didn’t really fully utilise Villa Diana’s full capabilities as half our 6 kids are away, even so, the bedrooms, furnishings and facilities, you’d want for nothing. The large pool, glows enticingly evening at night with the pool and patio lights, sun loungers make for some very relaxing days. We particularly liked the balcony and the covered shade beside the pool for eating al fresco. With my wife being Greek Cypriot, we always measure up every other Greek Island and Kefalonia is beautifully stunning, was our first visit to the island. It’s people are friendly and very hospitable, with a mediterranean cuisine which is always a delight, no wonder life expectancy is so high in these cultures. Sharon and her team are wonderful hosts, with great advice and suggestions, nothing was too much, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Diana and will be recommending to our friends with the hope we might return in the not too distant future also.

A lovely family villa in a great loaction

The villa was exactly what we needed for our family of 10. We were met at the airport and felt immediately at home as the villa is set up for everyone including babies and toddlers. The two self contained levels worked really well as our son and his older children used the first floor. Our youngest family and ourselves used the ground floor. This meant that early risers didn't disturb everyone. The location worked so well for us being some 10 minutes from Spartia beach which was quiet even in high season as it doesn't have the rows of loungers and beach brollies. We bought our own locally. It is also close to Argostoli, local supermarkets and a nice taverna. We will certainly return in the future.

Superb Holiday Home!

We were made very welcome to Kefalonia by Villa manager, Joy , who quickly arranged our trip to Villa (all of 10 minutes) Villa itself was perfect , in its own beautiful grounds, with pool sparkling in sunshine! Nothing was to much trouble during our stay, Joy was a source of so much local info. Local taverna was outstanding! With delicious local dishes.

Siamo stati benissimo!

La casa è senz'altro più bella dal vero che in foto, il giardino è grande e ben tenuto così come la piscina sempre cristallina, la casa è super confortevole, c'è proprio tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno perfetto. Il servizio pulizie poi completa il confort. Gentilissima Joy che si è occupata di noi con molta attenzione e gentilezza. Molto raccomandato.

What a perfect place!

We had a large group of us that stayed in the Villa. Our first impression was of the caretaker of the home who lived nearby, she greeted us with a great big beautiful smile. Anytime we needed something, if we did, they were right there to assist. While in Greece we had rented 2 different villas, and this one knocked it out of the park. We had a full kitchen, and plenty of room for everyone. We were mostly family with a couple friends. We were close to the beaches, restaurants, and everything else. We rented cars and mopeds, and got around the island just fine. I would highly recommend this villa. My uncle who owns a house a mile away wanted the villas info for other people to rent when they come out. By the way, the owner of the villa went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of, a very sweet gal! Cesar

from moment we arrived we felt sooo relaxed this lovely Villa and its beautiful grounds.

Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful Villa! Staff keep it immaculately clean, Villa is very well equipped and beds are sooooo comfy,! Staff very friendly, couldnt do enough to ensure we had a good time. Rory the chef cooked us a delicious meal, there was so much food we were eating it for days! Pool is quite large, plenty of room for our large group and well equipped with poolside sunbeds. When we did venture out we found that only a short drive away were many beautiful beaches , particularly recommend St Thomas Beach and Avithos Beach which had tavernas serving delicious traditional dishes, however if you want a beach with Watersports there are the beaches of Lasssi and Skala. Will be returning to this Beautiful Island and of course will be staying in Villa Diana!!

Perfect Villa on a Beautiful Island!

Stunning family friendly Villa very well equipped with all you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday. Nestling in lush countryside this Villa is perfectly placed as a base to explore the many attractions of this beautiful Greek paradise! Many beaches only a short drive away. I particularly recommend St Thomas Beach excellent for both sunbathing and snorkelling. A short walk away, the Olive Grove Taverna served delicious greek dishes in a fabulous garden setting. We booked Rory the chef one evening, he cooked and served a delicious BBQ , he even washed the dishes (the food was so plentiful we had another meal from the leftovers! ) From our initial enquiry the owner, Sharon and manager, Joy could not have done more to ensure we all had the best family holiday ever!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Wonderful family accommodation.

Rebecca from Offham We had a fantastic two weeks at Villa Diana. It was very clean and the villa was cleaned twice a week. The local housekeeper made us very welcome. The pool is a great size and our children...aged 6 and 4...just loved it. The villa has a very good feel to it and it has been well thought out...with an outside fridge for your convenience. There is also an outside darts board and plenty of toys by the pool. The local tavernas were great and the beaches had something for everyone. The children loved watching the sheep being herded once a day down a nearby lane. We will definitely recommend this villa to others and will visit it again if we decide to go back to Kefalonia. We can also recommend Rory the chef....he was fab and very knowledgeable about the area too. I cant recommend him enough. Finally, the owners were so helpful beforehand offering some excellent information and links to websites. Although there is no sea view, you have a lovely view of the mountains and it is very peaceful and sooo relaxing. The sea is just 5 mins away.....It is only a 15 min drive to the capital to pick up cash, see the turtles and to do a spot of shopping. You will not be disappointed if you book this! Family

Absolutely stunning!

The best Villa holiday I have ever had! Beautiful location, loads of privacy and huge pool perfect for cooling down from the stonking Greek sunshine. The Villa itself is perfect with large, clean and well decorated rooms, stocked with all necessary amenities and more bathrooms than we needed! Easy drive into Argostoli and the rest of Kefalonia. Please never sell this Villa so we can come back again!

Fun in the sun

I'll start with the villa. It's awesome. Looks and feels right at home in the island countryside. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and big pluses go to the pool and terraces. The neighbors, Tim and Joy have been both fun and helpful. Kefalonia is beautiful, especially in June, and we were fortunate to see most of it's attractions. We (a group of 8) gladly recommend the villa and the island. Thanks again Sharon.

The Bartons 2010

9 of the Barton family stayed at this wonderful villa it was very clean the pool was excellent and cleaned every other day. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't already at the villa. The Couple whom look after the villa on a day to basis are very helpful but leave you alone enough to enjoy the privacy that you are looking for with a villa. My family and I will be back to this great place. We had a mix up with our flights due to the ash cloud and the owners were very accomodating with us. If you are fortunate enough to be booking this villa, do not hesitate its wondeful.
