"The views from the porch is as pictured - fabulous marsh view.Location and access to the gulf is excellent with marina just a short 5 minutes or less away. The gulf in this area is stunning but very, very different from most gulf beaches along the coast of Florida. If you don't enjoy boating and fishing/scalloping then there is not a whole lot else to offer so be prepared to relax and entertain yourselves; this is exactly why we were there so perfect for us. The area was hit pretty hard several years ago and is rebuilding but the scares and damage can be seen all around. The creek behind this house has a dock as shown but the water level can get pretty skinny a low tide so we opted to put in at the marina nearby. Beds were comfortable and house is pretty well equipped, we did not find that we needed anything. Plan ahead for what you need, groceries or other items are not nearby and a lot of restaurants were closed on Monday and Tuesday (FYI) despite being 'in season'. We were four adults and were very comfortable for our stay."
