A perfect stay

We stayed at mountain view room, the view is exceptional. The receptionists were friendly, explained in detail. The room is clean, comfortable, but No TV. The room price considered high compare nearby property. Just the view is nice.

Beautiful views overlooking mountains. There was just one restaurant. It was big, always busy yet the service was fantastic. Food was great too. Georgian. Staff was very good too. Cute puppy and cat on site too!

Rooms Hotel in Kazbegi is a great place to stay when in Kazbegi. The view, the location and the overall vibe are out of this world. The rooms are not very well maintained considering the price per night at this hotel, but it’s cleaned and equipped. The lobby, the restaurant and the terrace are all nice places to chill, eat and have a drink. It’s a beautiful hotel and highly recommended when in Kazbegi.

The location and views are great. They were supposed to provide a bottle of wine upon arrival and they provided a tiny 150ml little bottle. Although the pool is nice, they do not keep it as clean as it should. Staff were generally helpful.

Great property and friendly staff. Food and drinks are excellent. Tons of options at breakfast. AC did not work in the room (although there was a thermostat) however we opened the doors at night to allow cool air in (late May). This worked for us however during peak summer, not sure if that would have been sufficient. Also, room did not have a Tv which I found surprising for hotel of this caliber.

I was dreaming about the visit of this hotel. View is just incredible, probably even better than I Imagined, but I was very much surprised about the facility.... It is on the level of 3 stars. Minuses: - no TV in the room -no safe in the room -no closet (or any shelves for clothes) in the room -no mirror in the room ( only small one in bathroom) -control between hot and cold water is very annoying -the shower is very bad made - it is very small, there is no any barrier for water and after the shower the water is all around the place -The pool is getting old -Staff is really trying but you can see how many people are very new and not very professional Pluses: -Incredible view! I could sit on the terrace forever! -Hot tube was a great thing to enjoy cold evenings -Breakfast is excellent ( sadly champagne is only during the weekend) I think this hotel has everything to be perfect but needs some work for that

Kazbegi stay

This hotel is overrated. I think it is maximally three stars. Rooms are too small, bathrooms even smaller. Shower in the bathroom is not closed one, so water is splashing all over the bathroom. There is no wardrobe or shelves where you can unpack your bags, so everything stays in the suitcases. Free coffee is very restricted to two coffee sachets per day per room. Staff are friendly, but a bit slow on the restaurant side. Swimming pool is indoor with two saunas, but there were few unruly families whose children were freely screaming and splashing out water and playing like swimming pool is their own. Staff did not react when we warned them that house rules should be followed. Breakfast is great and rich, with separate eggs station and choice of savoury and sweet delices, but limited to filter coffee only and 1 coffee only from the bar per person (second one would be charged). Gym is small with only few exercising machines and gets easily crowded. Overall hotel is overpriced.

I booked a room at this property after great reviews from my friends and amazing recommendations. My experience however was totally different and I found the staff very inhospitable, especially the security team. From the moment I arrived, the security and bell boys were downright rude. They were annoyed that I stopped the car in front of the hotel to unload my bags and were rushing me to go to the parking (maybe because of my skin colour, I don’t know). I was driving a rental car from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. I parked my car at the hotel, and provided my car plate number during check-in. However, there was a ‘function’ planned for the next day and all guests had to move their cars from the parking lot. Instead of calling me directly, since I had provided my car number, they called the police to get my car removed, who then called the rental owner, who then called me. And the staff extremely unhelpful to provide an alternate parking and I was told to park on a hillside next to the hotel, where most sedan couldn’t park. The next day, when I was checking out, they did not even allow me to get my car inside to load my bags and I had to drag my luggage for 100 meters to exit gate. I had specifically asked about parking when booking and if it was not available, due to some function for a higher order guest of the hotel, they should have at least informed the clueless second rated guests who are staying at the hotel about unavailability of parking, or at least provided an alternate.

The hotel view is so amazing but the service is a bit disappointed. We are group of 3 people so on the check in time my extra bed was not yet added , the reception informed me that the house keeper will add later but it took an hours and I have to remind the reception again. When the housekeeper later came to my room , she was bit rude to set up the extra bed with bad manner speaking the local language which I don’t understand but knew from the body language and facial expression . The 2 pool staffs also not welcome as well. The best thing from this hotel is the Amazing view.

Hotel liegt in einer herrlichen Gegend mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Berge. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool und die Sauna sind empfehlenswert. Ich würde dringend empfehlen die Teppiche vor den Aufzügen zu entfernen. Sie sind Stolperfalle, Schmutzfänger und mit Rollkoffer einfach nur hinderlich. Selbst die Angestellten scheinen davon genervt zu sein. Was leider nicht gut ist, ist die Organisation beim Service im Restaurant. Das gilt für jede Tageszeit. Es steht immer schmutziges Geschirr herum, will man einen Tisch muss man diesen immer selbst abräumen. Entweder gibt es zu wenig Serviceangestellte oder sie sind schlecht organisiert. Für ein so schönes Haus einfach nur enttäuschend.

The views from the property are spectacular. The breakfast was “laid on”: chef cooking eggs; variety of salads & fruit including strawberries and varieties ham cheeses etc Even in bad weather there were board games and plenty of seating.
