"We only stayed one night and it was disappointing. They do not stock kettles in rooms, but told us we could boil water in a pot for tea. The pull out sofa was so bad that one of our children slept on the floor on a camping mat and we had and another child put a sheet on the sofa as is and slept there. Several of the lamps would not turn on and several outlets didn't work. The toilet seat broke too during our stay. We've had a good history with Residence Inns. I was surprised at this. Since we had booked with Expedia (3rd party), no compensation for all these inconveniences was offered when we reported things to staff."

"I was trying to book a room in Oshawa and somehow booked one in Lindsey the staff at the hotel were no help and the staff at Expedia were no help in me getting a refund or switching my booking to a hotel in Oshawa very poor service as far as I'm concerned I will never recommend either Expedia or travel lodge to anyone "
